  • There was a bit of a curve to get used to moving the characters together, but eventually I got a system down. I liked the different enemy designs and all of the art looked great! Overall fun game, some more options for combat/polishing the movement a bit could have taken the game a bit farther! --- 27/40

Super fun concept and sounds! Pretty clean pixel art too. Good job!

Really interesting concept! I liked the idea of controlling two different characters, that were still connected. While I'm not a huge fan of bullethell games, I definitely felt the urge to continue playing this game!

One critique I would have is that I was super confused at the beginning, as I did not know where the enemies were, nor did I know that i could control/shoot with both characters. In addition, a lot of the sound effects, while good, had high volume and was ear piercing to me (as I was wearing headphones).

Super interesting concept, the implementation is also pretty good! Like the other commenters, I will reiterate one more time the camera thing, I believe the game would greatly benefit from working that out.

You guys have a nice idea on your hands! Would love to see more levels, mechanics added to the game.

I like the concept of this game, and I think it has a nice comedic charm to it, especially with the setting of "Heck". Also, I just like bullet hells in general haha. I found it interesting that the two characters seem to be different from one another, since the blue one moves faster.

I do agree with the other comments that the camera should be zoomed out more, since it's really hard to anticipate incoming bullets, or see what I'm aiming at.

This reminds me of playing lego star wars with another person. Both players had to stay on the same screen lol. I think the camera should pan out more so that the player can see incoming projectiles better. The art was interesting and had me wondering what was going on in the game.

I love your title! The tether mechanic is a cool concept - presumably these friends have been imprisoned by the monsters and are shackled together? I would have liked the option to have the friends go in opposite directions at the same time.

A fun game, a really cool twist on the connection theme. I really like the bean character designs, something simple yet appealing. I would say zooming out the game a bit would be beneficial because it's hard to see the enemies unless they're right about to hit up. Great work keep it up!

Wow, this concept would make for a really fun co-op game, I love anything that lets me drag a friend away from where he wants to go :P Could really use a better description however because I was a little confused where the enemies were at first.
