A good game that certainly fits the theme. Well done. Like the others, i'd recommend polishing the controls and movement more in future, but the player animation was quite good. Getting all the art to fit the same style is also definitely something to remember too, as Wellzitu mentioned.

So this was a very good attempt for a game jam. It put a smile on my face (Which I needed today). My only major criticism would be to work on the mechanics a bit. They feel very floaty and unresponsive. I assume you used the physics engine for the player's movement. Perhaps this talk will be of help:

Thanks for that. I enjoyed the clip too.  I appreciate the input.  I learned a lot as this was my first game jam.  Next time I will divide the allotted time in half and reserve the entire second half for polish.  And above all, I will request off work for the duration of the jam!

Yup, I also made my game after work hours. It kills you.

Planet saved o / Try to use the same type of art  the whole game and test new responses about the character movement. :)

Thanks!  I'll admit that most of the art was place holder but I ran out of time and had to start cutting items from my want list:(

I like how with each stage of life you gain a new ability but i had trouble with the controls. There is different gravity for when jumping without moving and jumping while moving. Another thing was that the character didnt stop walking when I stopped pressing the button, but when the animation cycle was over, which could lead to falling off an edge. If you could fix the controls and make the game a bit longer, it would be really cool. Good job! :D

Thanks:)  Totally agree with you entirely.  I ran out of time to polish the floatyness.  But the stopping immediately part I have so far not been able to figure out.   I'm currently working on a test project just to get the whole movement inputs under control.  I'm probably doing things as noob as possible lol.
