As soon as I heard the chickens screaming for their lives and vfx flying everywhere I knew this was gonna be a special game. The controls are really unique and the overall theme of chicken vs fox ft worms matches the gameplay well. Nice submission!

ive used a camera ive made as an asset for my other projects and a few shaders that i forgot to remove and aren'r used in any part of the game, i also used a music from "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRWxN1_de_k". Thats all

The game is super fun, it's engaging and there's no dead time.
With all these things happening one cool thing is how the behaviour of all the protagonists feels right, enemies launching bullets then charging, hens frenetically charging close enemies while following you just as you want to, neither too much nor too enough.
I like how the game looks, it has this old shareware a bit messy yet finely crafted dev art that you're happy to stumble unto in such jam contests. However I am not sure about the relaxing music, it's nice but I tend to think some super fast music fits frenetic gameplay, maybe I'm too much traditional on that front :) .

A peaceful garden ?first of all, Thanks for playing it!!!!
I really enjoy the development of this game, it was such a fun thing when i tought about the idea the first time, imaginating hens attacking foxes while them throwing rocks at you, was something different i guess, i also loved doing the pixelart as long it is pixelart, i starting doing pixelart this last months and i think i found my style (a bit messy 😅), the hardest part was codding the animations of the foxes and hens, i don't wanted to just use a gift as a sprite, i wanted to give en More life, so i cut each pices of the boddy then draw em in order and anímate them, im in love with the result!!!!
And yeah there is no desd time, at all, maybe the only dead time is finding the foxes that sometimes gets stucked in a place, i thought in a More complex wave system, but the actual one works perfectly, and also the music was something i realize almost at the end 😂😂, so i searched for one and found it, it was free and i hope it is free 🤣🤣.
There are more things to talk about but i think it's too much 😅 thank you again for playing my gane :D i had a Lot of fun making it for the Jam!!!
Took a bit to get used to the controls, beat it on the first try which was unexpected, all around very fun idea

worms gives the player more HP if you eat em (click on them when you are close)
rats grabs the eggs from the nests, if you kill em, the eggs returns to the nests
foxes launch rocks and hurts you
if you use dash you are immune to projectiles till the dash ends
i think its all, HAVE FUN :D
Did i said you can use hens as Weapons...?
