Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?

I feel like the hitbox is a bit too big but people said the same about my game so I think I will just shut my mouth and congratulate you for this relly cute game (I love the palet of color)

"THE END"!

The scope of the game is decent, I really like that there's a final boss, and what's there works pretty well. The game looks and sounds good, and it's fun, the controls and speeds of bullets and ships feel good, the different enemies are actually quite different and the different waves are different too and each kind of wave is fun to learn to apprehend. Finally the length and difficulty of the game are right on point, I thought it took me the length I wanted to invest into it to beat it and it was satisfying to beat.

Cool game, thanks for sharing.

I liked the minimal color look. Kind of reminded me of classic gameboy. It was pretty tough, but the randomization kept it fresh.

That's really cute, even if very simple. I do really like the artstyle tbh. The music is pretty good too, despite being brought from another project. Gameplay itself is also fun, altought kinda basic, I have to admit. The little story did hook me tho, I always appreciate those.

For critiscism I think my main thing to say is that the timer at the bottom eats up a little too much of the screen, it actually ends up hiding the player char a lot of times, I think it would have been a better fit to place it on either the corner below hp or the one below the score. Hitboxes are also a little too big, so the exploding enemies felt a little overwhelming to dodge, but they're really the only offenders of this, other than their bullet pattern in specific the hitboxes feel alright most of the times.

Yeaah, i noticed the timer thing too but i was too busy finishing the boss and fixing bugs. Though im not sure if i would put it below the score/health, maybe i could make it smaller and only show the text.
About the problem with the exploding ships, i could try to make it have a better difficulty curve by making it so the waves get harder the closer to the boss you are and make the bullet hitbox smaller.
Anyways, thanks a bunch for the feedback!

Really well made game. I love that it randomizes with each playthrough. It's really tough though, and can be very punishing. Or maybe I'm just no good haha. I'm really impressed with the art style and audio especially.

Nice work, a sweet small, but well executed game. I just wish there was a way to force full screen
