Wow, really cool implementation of the limitation theme. The 1-dimensional movement started out as a bit of a gimmick, but you evolved in really interesting ways over the course of the game. My main recommendation is that ammo would spawn a bit faster, I ran into a few situations where I was at full health, and then ran out of ammo, and died because the pursuing enemies kept running into me before more ammo could spawn. But overall. great work!
This was really cool! I really like the concept! I think the sound effect for when the enemy gets hit might be a bit delayed? I'm not super sure about that one though, it might just be lag on my end.

this is a great idea and a great execution. super fun. i really loved the congratulatory text between rounds and loved seeing it progress passed the simple line as you got further. Really nice work!
Great idea and execution. I had a lot of fun with it. Those late levels great really tricky, but I think it was a nice ramp up in difficulty.
That was a cool novel idea. The first few levels were kind of meh but then the track patterns became a lot more challenging.
It seems like the ammo drops are random, which makes it pretty easy to get cornered without ammo on the later levels and takes skill out of the equation.
Thanks! The Ammo drops at a constant interval, there is a 10% chance of getting health instead if ammo. If you are on low ammo, there is always ammo (no health drop) and vice versa. So I did try to be not too rng-heavy… The intention was to give you an incentive to save some bullets and aim carefully and also to have phases in the game where you have to dogde without shooting to get to the ammo drops.
But it‘s great to get feedback so thanks a lot!
One thing you could try is having fixed locations that ammo/health spawn it. Then the player could plan around that a bit so there's less risk of getting cornered and defenceless. Though I guess you also wouldn't want the player to just camp on the ammo spawns constantly.
Neat idea that needs some balancing. It is easy to get stuck in a corner with no ammo.
Pro-tip: don‘t spend all of your bullets at once :)
