I totally get vampire survivor vibes from this! Is a great game overall, the graphics are really good for the characters, although the game definitely needs some sort of background or flooring, as for the system mechanics they are very solid a great foundation for a great game!
Suggestions!
Make a better enemy spawn system, I usually died because the enemy spawned right on my face! I imagined this was due to the randomized spawn system, but I would prefer they come out from the outer screen into my direction, that would make it easier to respond, and then scale difficulty as enemies come closer.
Bugs?
I noticed when I selected to shoot two bolts of energy, the armored enemies received no damage from it, I'm not sure what caused it.

Yup! the initial intention was to make something closer to vampire survivor, but after a few feedback I might change it to more of a Twin-stick shooter mechanic, I still need to decide.
The enemies should spawn in an annular shape around the player, but I agree it's not well balanced, I'll make them spawning farther from the player.

The local co-op option is feature is soo cool. It could use a bit more polish but nonetheless, super cool game!
You're off to a great start. Maybe I missed it, but it would be great to see enemies with ranged attacks (projectiles/fireballs/etc). Look forward to any future updates to this!
Hello! Nope, enemies only have melee attacks, I didn't have time to implement it 😜
Audio is 10/10, it's an interesting concept but I agree with Endoblance that it can become a bit boring sometimes.

The fact that there is a local multiplayer makes this game superior to all other games in this jam!
I do have to criticise you in one point though, I don't know if it was intentoinal for the witch to shoot automatically, but it makes the game a little bit boring... It's sometimes funnier to just run away for a long time and wait for a kajillion enemies to just pop up so you'll have something to do.
Make the shooting manual and this game is a perfect 5/5!
