If I could offer a suggestion: you think the minigames could reward the player with more gold?

Perhaps I missed something, but I couldn’t figure out how to earn more gold.

Very fitting choice to have the minigames take place in a farm! Props to your pixel artist!

I really dig the concept, but where was the chicken coop?

I kept pressing W thinking I would walk upwards, but moved diagonally up/left instead. You get used to it over time. Also neat pixelation effect.

Cool, I think it could use more feedback/prompts, but I still managed to get The Salad.

Thanks for the thorough feedback! You raise some very valid points. The completed version should hopefully address all these points.

Thanks, congrats to you as well! I’m looking forward to checking it out this weekend.

That’s great you found the gameplay addicting, and our sound designer will be happy to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! We definitely went for that golden era of game visuals

Thank you, yes we’re incredibly grateful for Fusion’s playthrough!

It was a pleasure participating in this jam with your team. I look forward to your future content!

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the vibe!

Nice commentary! Thanks for playing!

Technically yes, we found significantly better performance on Windows.

Let use know if you’d like us to upload a very experimental version for macOS.

Yes, Dead Rising was certainly among the inspirations for this project.

We had a blast designing all these little game systems, and it seems you had fun discovering them all! Thanks for playing!

This is definitely not intended behavior, haha. We’ll see if we improve the cart physics.

Great mall! You found (or made?) some really nice textures.

I, too, kept getting stuck in the stairs area. I was actually able to jump down into the room with the key!

I would have definitely liked to have explored more of the mall. Hope you expand this concept further in the future!

I was convinced these were real websites for real products, and I somehow accidentally opened the wrong application.

I’m quite unfamiliar with the weirdcore genre, but I dig the creepy “web 3.0” aesthetic. Very nicely done!

Right off the bat: nice distortion/refraction shader in the main menu

Great atmosphere, great vfx, and overall a relaxing experience. Props to your vfx artist(s)

Amazing enemy design, from the sound effects to the animation.

I didn’t realize I could jump until about round 3. Other than that, solid experience you’ve got here.

(I’m proud of my time of 1:56:595)

Surprisingly addicting, fast-paced shooter gameplay here. The overall sound design adds a lot to the immersion. (Love that handgun sfx you used)

I applaud your dedication to our game. Congratulations, and hope you stay #1!

Glad you enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Thanks for your playthrough!

We definitely strived for minimalist fun on this project. Thanks for playing!

Will do! Thanks for playing!

Glad you appreciate the fluidity of our game’s systems. We’ll make sure to bring you more content in the future!

Thank you, I’m impressed you braved it out for as long as you did!

Also, props for streaming and playing every game in the jam. Definitely looking forward to trying your submission ✌️

Glad you enjoyed the sauce!

Sounds like a graphics/performance related issue. We’ll check this out soon!

Thank you for this thoughtful comment! Yes the challenge we faced was designing survival-horror controls that weren’t slow/boring in the long term.

It’s good to hear that all the little features we added came together to create the unsettling mall vibe during your playthrough.

As for AI textures, there were 2 album artworks in the record store that were generated through AI.

Thanks again, and I’ll be definitely paying your mall a visit next!

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the movement overall. Our artist will be happy to hear you appreciated the flamingos!

Glad we could capture the terror of darkness in an abandoned mall.

We’ll certainly check out your channel! Thanks

Thanks for this super insightful playthrough!

Thank you! We certainly tried our best to get the aesthetic right on this project

Glad you enjoyed the atmosphere (and the scares)!

Awesome playthrough! Thanks for giving Dead Mall a shot!

👍

Appreciate the compliments! Thanks for playing!

Hey just a quick fyi: we updated Maze Tycoon with several improvements (including added colliders on props!). We look forward to watching you build mazes on stream!

Thanks again for a successful Feedback Quest!

Okay I’m really digging this concept!

  • As hythrain mentions, typing letters can feel cumbersome. How different would this play out if the sequence was “arrows” instead of “letters”?
  • I would have also liked if the two rows were aligned. Currently, it’s easy to “lose your place” in the sequence if you look away from the screen.

Give it some thought. I know it can’t be too easy. It’s a neat idea as is; it just could benefit from some minor UX adjustments.

Hi and thanks for hosting this feedback jam!

We’ll definitely be adjusting the collisions of the props. It’s interesting because the benches weren’t intended to be used in that way. (perhaps that’s a “feature not bug”?)

Really glad you enjoyed that concept. I wasn’t able to catch the livestream, but certainly looking forward to watching the VOD on youtube!
