Visuals & Post processing were amazing. And yeah the difficulty was quite easy which is ironic because when you sent the first test file it was quite hard, so consider tweaking that.
Other than that the game was a really well executed bossfight! Well done!
The visuals on this game was really great! The controls were quite simple to get into, and the overall execution was really good! One thing to work on is the difficulty because I beat it on my third try, so a bit more variety in the attacks would be good
Have been really looking forward to playing this one, it looks stunning! Also feels really great, it took me a second to figure out how the shooting worked but the mechanic of having it follow the mouse then only shoot when it settled on it was genius! The effects could feel a bit too over the top sometimes, but maybe that just added to the charm. I look forward to seeing this boss in my nightmares, awesome work!!
Some seizure warning would be nice :p Game is really good audio-visually, also a bit easy, everything is clearly telegraphed so after learning all the boss's mechanics I could just steamroll the game on my second try. Also the chromatic abberation was way too overdone. Anyway, VERY good submission!
First off... THE POST PROCESSING IS SO GOOD! It was WAY to easy, I beat it on my third try. You should have made some kind of attack at the back of the arena. Its well known along a lot of Bullet Hell game players, that pretty much any fight is easier the more distance between the boss. This was especially true with your game. The graphics were SO GOOD. I wish it was easier to see the boss health bar, because half of the time I didn't even know If I was doing damage. (But the white flash was a really good effect.) I also loved the mechanic of not moving to shoot, really cool idea. Great job!
This is a huge improvement over the earlier version you posted on discord! New boss attacks, feedback when you hit the boss, and now you can skip the opening cutscene! You no longer have to sit through it every time you die, and I really appreciate that. The gameplay is a ton of fun, albeit really difficult. This is something most games submitted to the jam has, including mine; The game gets far too difficult far to quickly. After only just getting in the game, in a matter of seconds, thousands of bullets are coming your way and you have to dodge them all. I really like the look of the game, and it feels as polished as ever, and those boss animations are fantastic! I don't really understand what this has to do with corruption though, maybe a simple bit of text explaining this at the start of the game would have fixed this. I'm also still a bit put off with the player firing but himself, and not manually clicking to shoot.
With that being said, I really liked this game. It felt extremely polished, the gameplay was fun, and those boss animations were so good, and managing to dodge the bullets felt extremely satisfying. Great submission, good job! :D
Very epic game, tho it's a bit hard. I like the art style and sounds a lot, makes me go YES. But post processing is a bit much, hurts my eyes a little bit but still a very good game, would love to play more :D
