Great Puzzle game, executed not that very well. I love puzzle games and yours my friend appears to be a good one. I think you need better explanation on how the game works, how to kill viruses what hurts you  etc etc. Like, I didnt mind the crash cause you are dead anyway. But I took me way too long to understand how to play it. Im pretty sure that if you refined this game it will have ALOT of audience,.

I like it, even though with the problems i encountered.

There was some interesting design here. Trapping viruses to destroy them, but having to deal with multiple different kinds of viruses that multiply or explode stuff - cool idea. Unfortunately I think a lot of people will be confused by the gameplay since players are thrown in with little clue as to how to win. Running into viruses clearly destroys them, but by the 2nd level, if this is your only strategy, you die.

I got to level 7 then found coralling the viruses a bit frustrating, as sometimes it would simply depend on them moving to the right spot for me to trap them. slowing things down made the game easier, but less playable. Add to this the fact that my game crashed every time I lost, and that just added insult to injury and made me less inclined to keep on trying.

Some adjustments might make this a really interesting game. Work on the learning curve/tutorial, fix things that make the game crash would be a good start. Some people might totally love this kind of game if it is polished up enough.

Thanks for the helpful feedback.

The strange thing is that the game crashes after losing. This is the first time I've met such an error. What operating system do you have? And how much RAM is there?

It was Windows 10, 8GB RAM. I'll screenshot and share when I can.

I like puzzle games, so this game was right down my alley!

I'm going to lead with my criticisms first. I appreciate that you tried to go with a minimal, more visual instruction manual instead of a big wall of text, but it didn't work here. For example, the manual says that there are viruses that destroy particles, but it's not clear how the player is supposed to deal with them. Can they be trapped? Is your only option to run into them?

The overall design has some issues, too. For example, the player is thrust into the first map with a bunch of particles and viruses and no guarantee that they have read the instruction manual. It would be better to start off with just a few weak viruses and some quick instructions on how to deal with them. Use the opportunity to introduce the player to each major mechanic of the game a little a time. Then the levels can increase in difficulty and introduce each new type of virus. This will provide a sense of the levels getting more challenging, but the player will also feel more able to address those challenges.

Another issue lies in how the maps are laid out. When a level starts, the player may not be able to see all of the friendly cells and may not even have time to respond to the virus threats, resulting in some cells being lost no matter what the player does. There are a few different ways this could be addressed, but ultimately the goal should be to set the maps up in such a way that losses only happen due to the player's errors.

Despite these criticisms, I thoroughly enjoyed myself once I figured out how to play! If the issues could be addressed, I could see this being developed into a really good full game! I hope you continue to develop this and improve your skills.

I got an error failed to open file for writing. I can't play it.

Solution to the problem:

- place the game on any disk in any of your user folders for example C: \ MyGame (it is better not to place the game in any system folders like C: \ ProgramFiles)

- if the game is located in C: \ ProgramFiles then run the file (.exe) of the game as administrator
