Nice retro art and sounds. Not much to do in the game, but I think it's a good base for some RPG adventuring!
None of the attacks seemed to be working
This really felt like a gameboy game even with so little to do which is pretty cool. The art is pretty nice I see a lot of potential here. Really great foundation to start something, good job!
Good start! I think I said this in another game, but the gameboy green color palette really hurts/strains my eyes haha. Keep working on it! (i also suggest coloring, might have a wider appeal then~) check out 'Puma Cat' if you have spare time.
While there isn't a whole lot of gameplay here, I think it is a great foundation which could be expanded on. The music and aesthetics are wonderful and I'm excited to see where you take it next.

I like the idea, it's unfortunate nothing is really working yet (I read your discription). The music is good! sound effects could be a bit more silent. One note when going out of a building/fight you can walk before you can see and I walked into the fight 3 times in a row XD
