The code was written from scratch. Most visual assets were bought, music and sounds were taken from a free source (all the credits are on the game page).

Reminds me of the "Learn to Fly" games, but in 3D. Great work! Flying around takes a bit of getting used to, but it is enjoyable. One remark is that it takes a while to get started since you need to wait for the paper airplane to get folded before starting each run.

What a lovely game. I love the feeling when you get a good flight going. Music fits nicely to the mood. I wish the restarting would be faster and didn't interrupt/reload the music, though. The current pace sadly breaks the immersion.

Art, animations, controls and the environment are awesome, the music fits the atmosphere. Technically this is a superb game.
Unfortunately I didn't have the patience to get into the game itself. Having the animation shown every time you start over became annoying fast and the progress was so slow that I lost interest.
*edit* So my son took over playing after I wrote the comment and he figured out the controls better and after that we flew 1k+ that was fun. I change the rating a little bit
Wow ahaha this is very funny and cute) yes the animations begin to annoy at some point) but like everything else, they were made in a hurry so did not think to make them more enjoyable. Say hello and thank your son :D

Nice theme, nice overal aesthetics & feel too it. After a while it gets tiresome to see the whole letter writting and paper animation, it needs a skip button xD
Just when I was getting the hung of it it entered a non-stop restart loop where the animation and the song restarted every second... and just when I was thiiiis close to make it :(

Yes, you're right. We definitely needed to make a button to skip through some parts, such as letter writing or animation of plane making.
Really cool concept - one small nitpick is that it takes a while for the game to refresh after your plane lands. The animation is nice, but it gets repetitive after a while. Overall though, really interesting idea and plays nicely. Reminds me of the Disney's Paperman short. Great work!

A very wholesome game. This fits the them perfectly in my opinion. The plane controls were suprisingly smooth although it's a little frustrating when a person changes direction without warning.
FYI: I also found a bug where the letters would not show any text.

The game is actually pretty cool. The gameplay is relaxing. I was quite interested in just flying around and exploring the city. The graphics are good. The sound design has me impressed at all. One of the best games on this jam.

This is such a unique idea.
I like how there is a subtle effect that assists the player to locate the target.
I hope the story can be expanded.
I find that having to read the note again after failing slightly annoying, and I wish there is an option to disable it. I also experienced some lag when playing.

This game is feels. I love the whole idea, the graphics and even the atmosphere. It's all very well put together. My favorite part is just flying regardless of the objective. If this was some sort of endless flying game I'd be addicted. Really well done!!

very cool concept! I think respawning just as you exit the window would cut down on the frustration a bit, and maybe include a photo of the target in the corner

Audio and art were nice but the plane was really hard to control and made it frustrating to play
Yep, it’s not easy when you start the game. I recommend you to just fly around to get points and buy a couple upgrades. It will get easier :)
The controls are: WASD to fly ("S" to fly higher, "W" to nosedive) and Shift for boost. And a small tip: it's easier to bump into the person from the front or back and not from the sides.

Really nice graphics and surroundings, calm music. I like the idea, but i found it very difficult, i never managed to get across the street. And when i saved up for first upgrade (after like 12 atempts) it bugged out and sadly i couldnt continue...
Nevertheless, the graphics, music and idea are big plus of this game!
