Thanks a lot xD. I actually didn't put in effort into the music at all but I'm glad you liked it. Thanks a lot for playing!

Thank you for your feedback!
I'd like to say that the game is meant to be hard. At least, harder than most games. But then again, fairly easier than games like Jump King or Pogostuck.
The sliding into spikes is intentional. As weird as it sounds, I wanted the game to be frustrating and even designed levels whilst keeping that in mind.
The jump power measurement is not user-friendly, I agree. Basically the longer the 'click and drag', the more the jump force, but the max is capped.
A trick to prevent sliding into spikes isn't to jump upwards, but to 'click and drag' in the direction opposite to which the player is moving to cancel out the momentum (not intentional but works fairly well).
You're not bad, the game is just like that dw xD.
Thank you so much for playing!!
It's very beautiful. I really love the style and that's what drew me in. The controls are cool too with the S + Attack and the variable jump. Combat could be improved but I like it. Level design is amazing imo.
Overall, I loved it. Keep it up and maybe this could be a full fledged game!!
PS: The character art is so nice, how'd you make it?
This game gave me chills. I am shivering 0~0. I love the atmosphere so much. It's like so spooky and monotonous. That is until you get obliterated by the monster thing. And then it's even more spooky (the monster sound aklsjfhlkajhf) and bloody xD.
The music emphasizes the atmosphere a lot. Keep it up!!
Dude. DUDEEE! The dudebro conjecture or whatever was quite cool lmao. At first I thought this would be like a troll game but after the first level which I miserably failed at in the first try (lame ik), I changed my mind.
It's an easy to learn hard to master type of game imo. It's very addictive ngl. Keep it up dude!!
Oh crap I forgot but the music and background images bro ahahhaha
This game. This flipping game. I like it a lot. I actually stumbled upon it through randomizer but it is actually so darn good. From the level design to the visuals and the puzzles, it's honestly well put together. And above all of that is the narrator, whose voice I really enjoyed. It honestly didn't feel like I was alone whilst playing this.
Amazingly well done! Keep it up!
Omg it's the square game dev! Hey! I actually wanted the cube to slide so if the player yeets in a horizontal-ish direction, it would move like a regular platformer.
The trajectory visualization is something I could've added but I just didn't know how and honestly it's harder without it *maniac laugh*
Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback!!
The game is good. I quite like it but you could make a few minor changes to the core gameplay to make it appeal to a lot more people.
For example, the boundary for the stage/level: there were tiles extending beyond the stage which made me think I could go there but I couldn't. And also maybe add a few more sound effects.
One thing I really like about the shooting is it goes through the enemies and damages any enemy in its path. That is really nice.
Overall it's good for something made in a week. I liked it. Keep it up!!
