I like the concept behind the game and the chill atmosphere the music delivers. Everything was well explained and tutorialized. I unfortunately encountered an issue where I didn't get any text in the dialog boxes. But I was still able to get the jest of the game. Pretty good.

Am so glad you liked the game, have received the same issue from others which am currently working on and before uploading the game it was working very when I played test it, I don`t know why all the suddenly it has decided to turn the back on me, anyway for the past days have been working on it just like others suggested it could be the Z position fighting and have implemented thee saving system   and worked on the path the current one is too block so I used the tile map system instead of the boxes stacked all over the place. I will reupload the game once done and just hoping the web version will work out well. Thank you so much for the feedback it really means a lot and helps me to be in the correct direction :D

So I might have encountered some technical difficulties, again proably because I'm playing on a 4K screen. Unitys UI has some issues with that if you design for a smaller screen size.

I have a hard time opening the market/backpack due to some offsets of the clickable area but more importantly I have no text in the dialog boxes so I can't read what the community desires. Also I think the colliders are slightly set off.

From what I could see, it was a really good start. I liked the mini map and the interpretation of the theme, If you want me to rate the game, I'd be delighted if you can re-build it with a resizable window or as a web build. Just upload a secondary project to itch an link it here.

Developer

Thanks for playing it really means a lot and thank you for spotting that out, I couldn`t work on it due to the time but right now am making some changes to it, instead of using the box collider for the pathways am using the tilemap itself and I will make sure the web build is uploaded perfectly this time around. Thanks for comment . :)

Great Game And Music I love it

Developer

Am glad you like the game, Thanks :D

I liked the music.

I think the ground art was too loud and bright.  You want people to focus on the main part of the game, the players, enemies, interactive characters and items.  Not the background grass, which has a very attention grabbing colour palette.  There are many nicer, free grass assets on itch.

For some reason, I didn't get any text beyond the yes and no buttons.  So, just kept pressing yes and being pointed to some other house.  So, the game ended up being move from house to house.

Collision detection was odd.  I was sometimes able to walk around on the grass, but not in others.

It seems a lot of time was put into all kinds of systems for such a short game jam.  The intro mentions all kinds of UI elements.  I would recommend spending less time on that and more on the main gameplay (walking around, interacting with the world).  People would understand an absence of advanced systems.

Thank you for the point out, it means a lot and I will keep that advice in my mind for the next game jam, :)

Wasnโ€™t quite able to figure out how the market thingy works, but I was vibing with the ambiance- relaxing game xD

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback, the market works when you have enough awards(diamond), you have exchange those awards with the item on the market in order to fill out your backpack, before going to the community members house. Thanks for viewing and playing the game :)

Nice theme implementation, I like the little story behind the game. Cool art and music it complement each other very well. Looking at images from the game page itself, I think the UI elements are messed up a little bit upon building, as I can't see any of the text, and some bugs here and there, but that's always a part of a jam, but overall I really like the whole idea of this game. Great job on this one!

Tip: next time if you can make a web build that would be a huge plus as players prefer them over downloading a game

I can't seem to figure out what to do in the game, but the music is nice, a little to loud for me though.  Also, I keep hitting invisible walls, would be nice if the sprites are different for walls/non-passable areas.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, will work on that

I looked at screenshots, there was text asking "Do you have beans?". But I cant see the text, because of z position I guess. I actually liked the idea, sometimes one little thing bares the whole stuff. I would like to play it.
Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I would have play test if it hadn`t not for the time but I will work on it
