How does you game fit the theme?
We are not alone in space. In my game this news is far from good! As soon as discovered, this alien life has for only goal to destroy the planet...

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I started from a totally empty project. I used Blender and gimp to create the meshes and textures and Unreal engine 5 for the code.

Wow is this game good looking and polished, but also so hard x)

I really enjoyed my time playing it, but I felt like everything was so expensive x)

Good job on this :)

Thanks for the feedback, it is very valuable for the further development :)

To succeed in passing the levels you should not forget to position defenses on the planet, it allows you not to worry about the asteroids once advanced in the waves :)

Hey!

Your game is amazing, I love it!

I had so much fun playing it, it is so addictive . In addition the game is really polished: The sound effects and the vibrations, and just the feeling of the game is amazing!

You've done a really great job in only one week!

Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, it encourages me a lot. I spent more than a hundred hours in a week and I think I could continue its development after the game jam :)

This game has technique in it. You can feel the efforts put into it.

The sound effects when you hit the asteroids is fantastic and give you great vibes!

Graphic and aesthetic well cured.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, I actually spent the whole week there just taking some time to sleep a little.

I think you can see the power of unreal here. Still, creating this all in a week is pretty impressive by itself. You should check out Beat Invaders on Steam. Your game has a similar vibe and is pretty successful. With some polish (and decent key mapping, this one bugged on after restarting the game) you might even earn some cash.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, yes Unreal Engine is an impressive tool. I've been learning to use it for 3 years.

I have to admit that I had to spend 15 hours a day to do it in one week.

Did you have a problem with the key mapping? I'll look into it, thanks!

I will also check out Beat Invaders, I don't know it.

I'm thinking of continuing the development of this game but less in a hurry. I must have missed a lot of bugs there.

Thanks again, and I'll check out your game as soon as I get home.

Nice game...I like the art style and I also think you have created this one in Unreal Engine. When we shoot at the big rocks I like the chunks that are coming out of it.

DO CHECK MINE TOO

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot, yes it was done with Unreal Engine. I use a lot "Nigara" their particle system to make the visual effects :)

I'm going to check out your game tomorrow when I get home :)

My word this game is something. The sounds are amazing the FX are beautiful it just feels so good to shoot those asteroids! Something felt weird about the ship aiming but again this game is just awesome! I've got no idea how you made it in a week.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!

I spent an average of 15 hours a day for a week. I am happy with the result but my wife is not so happy!

Oh, I heard about the problem with the vessel's aim. I realized that it is adapted to a 1920x1080 screen, that's why I didn't notice this problem. I have already fixed the bug, a better version will be uploaded at the end of the game jam :)

You Did An Amazing Job With This Game ;P

Developer(+1)

Wow thank you very much! I've been working on it 15 hours a day all week so I'm thrilled to read your comment!

An hour after I posted it I realized what a bug it is when you die... I've since fixed it.

When I can update the file after the game jam there will be new things :)

Well made arcade shooter, love how the asteroids sometimes blend in with the background.

Developer

Thank you very much! I found the 3D/2D and light game interesting :)

Developer

I found a bug when dying and you want to "retry".

This bug is fixed in version 1.1 which will be uploaded when the Brackeys game jam is finished.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
