How does you game fit the theme?
if you're alone (or in game with no monsters in the light) you are teleported to the last checkpoint.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
some references for code were used and the font used is "Thaleah" by Tiny Worlds

This is a great concept! It definitely needs a tutorial (I only learned how to play by reading other comments), but I like the idea. I found it quite difficult; I only managed to get past a few of the horned enemies before I had to give up. Controlling the balls was tricky and the horned enemies were a bit frustrating to get past, but the snakes were fun. I think it would benefit from a more lenient outside-the-light check and more feedback that you are about to go outside of the light. The visuals and music are solid though. Nice work!

Wow this was a really cool game! I was really impressed with the graphics straight away and I thought it was a cool interpretation of the theme. I really loved the effort that went into the music but the harmony was pretty dissonant, if you made it a little more accessible it would be much easier to jam to. The beats in the baseline were pretty dope though. Great job!

If you would review my game I would really appreciate it, I'm just short of the 20 reviews needed and could really use your help, thanks!

Wow, this was an original idea and one of the more fun games to play. I beat it in the end. I wish it was more clear what I should do with the boss, but (*spoiler alert*) all I had to do was wait it out and avoid its hits. Nearly gave up on it, but finally finished! Well done!

The design and concept are beautiful.

Really great game. I like the different ennemies and the things you need to do. Was a bit confused at the beggining but overall really great.

There is even what is supposed to be a boss battle. Yes, I said "supposed to" because I have no idea how you are supposed to beat it. There is no life bar and when I stay near him he doesn't shows he is getting weaker.

Fun game, loved it. Could you check mine out too. Thank you

Great game ! Loved the art style, the polish and the sound ! The idea as well is pretty much an only one of it's kind from what I've been able to see for now. I could be very cool to have a control page somewhere to explain you the basic rules like "you can't pass through red but torches can, and you always need to be in range of a burning object"

Great concept. Took me a while to work out what I was supposed to do but could see the potential once I figured it out.

nice game! the pumpkins sometimes gets stuck in the corners which is a bit annoying, but other than that a very cool concept! i can see it being made onto a bigger game with a bit more polish. overall, very cool!

Nice music and gameplay mechanics, it would have used a tutorial on what to do but managed to figure it out in a minute. Great work pal.

Overall great game, really fun to play and a lot unlike the majority of the games in the jam. Keep up the good work for future jams! My only suggestion is more of a tutorial as it was confusing at first to figure out what I was meant to be doing.

Art and music are pretty good and I like the idea for the gameplay !
