The movement felt a bit clunky. I like the reality switching mechanics. The goal of lighting the room completely could've been more clear. With the switching mechanic, I found the potion limit a bit too difficult, I think it would play better if the potions recharged over time instead of it being a limited resource. Other than that, great stuff!
Don't really get what's the goal of the game, but still, the music and visuals were great!
Also if you don't mind, check out my game too, i'd appreciate it a lot! :D
Really nice game concept. Rated it! If possible do rate my game :)
Switching dimensions was really well implemented! Similar to other comments, I wish there were a reason to go to the dark world (if there were levels, maybe the doors into other rooms are only visible in the dark world). I did like that I could only switch dimensions a few times because it incentivized me to stay each world for longer than I might have otherwise. You did a great job bringing all of the assets you sourced together, great job!
I can see what you were going for here and can tell that, if there were multiple levels and a reason for going to the dark world, this could be quite a novel idea (a little bit like the two different realities in Zelda: A Link To The Past). I really liked the music (though one of the tracks didn't quite loop properly) and the procedural generation was well implemented.
Really nice pixel art. Cool that you were able to do procedural level. But like you said there is no objective. The music is a bit loud too.
Thank you, all the art used was from free assets, mostly from 0x72. Yeah, I struggle to put the idea to life on the firsts days, so I basically had only 3 days to develop the game, and it was not enough. Sorry for the loud music, added at the last moment, I didn't adjust the volume.
I liked the game. One of the few games. Where is the relevance to the topic 10/10)
Thank you, I definitely had a hard time coming with an idea that would fit the theme, be interesting on its own, and that would fit in the timeframe under my abilities. But in the end I think it fit very well on all of this. If I had a little more time I could improve it a lot.
Ghosts that chase you and turn the lights off are super cute ^-^ I like the idea being able switch between dreams.
Thank you, I was so happy when I realize I could make the ghost priority to turn off the lights, it made so much sense thematically.
