Really hard game to play, I mostly forgot the dodge ability haha.
Too hard for me, but I Iiked the art!
Boy this game is hard, but it was also fun. Took me a bit to realize the dodge was relatively important. Those flowers made me regret life lol. Great game!

Wow, this is a really complete roguelike, or at least seems to be aiming for a gameplay loop similar unless I'm wrong. Though quite fun even so, not the best in roguelike terms in terms of progression, but in terms of bullet hell gameplay. Quite well done honestly.
Though dang there is a lot of difficulty with these enemies for sure, those dang flowers kept murdering me constantly with those.. heat seeking flowers.. Otherwise though they all had very interesting and relatively unique attacks throughout the enemy types which is nice to see, not just a lot of walking towards the player, though it does make sense for what seems to b e bullet hell based combat.
It is a little weird that the player doesn't have a ranged attack though int hat setup, it makes a bit of sense with the enemies sometimes and a it's a bit weird other times to be honest. Though it's a nice mix up of what I've generally seen as bullet hell which is nice.
One thing I would say is that making it a bit clearer what each item you get actually does, would be nice. Since I sort of had to just guess of their general types I've seen in other games. Which, works, but obviously not something you generally want to rely on the player knowing all the time.
Another bit I would suggest as well is some indication of a goal for the level etc. to give you an idea what you're looking for throughout. As well as maybe some sort of fast travel once you get to more, though, that's honestly a nice QOL of life change not really a needed mechanic depending on the game. Just generally spitballing.
Overall though a very much complete roguelike style game which I was not expecting to see in this jam and was a pretty fun to play, although final tidbit, the audio was pretty loud for me, at least the background stuff. Which was a little distracting to be honest, otherwise though the audio generally seemed to fit which is nice to see and nice to have, gives some extra feedback on certain actions and helps set the tone of the area etc.

Really fun game you made here! I love these types of games and had a lot of fun playing yours. I did find myself accidentally running into some high powered enemies and got my socks rocked, but that was part of the fun! Great job.
Super fun game! It was cool to see items, the minimap and all enemies. I just think the white flowers were too hard to beat, but maybe it's my lack of experience on roguelikes haha
Beat the game second try! I liked the random level generation, art style, and item collection schtuff.
Would be cool to have some sort of distinguished boss-room, so I can decide to explore and get more items before running into the final boss. Also - I'd say the flower projectiles home in so well it feels almost unavoidable damage, in the rooms where you must kill 3 or so flowers.
Nonetheless, nice job!
