I think checkpoints are needed, but it was already said before me. Overall decent platformer.

Honestly great game! the sound and music really make it come together. Though it does lacks checkpoints as i find myself no wanting to redo the easy part of the game to get all the way back up

Nice game overall, the theme implementation is not really top notch, but other than that, good job for completing a game for your first game jam!!

The menu music slaps. Nice sound effects. Smooth animations. Nice game.

Decent start, I died a lot so for these games try shortening the death animation.
