How does you game fit the theme?
As the character is traveling home they must remind themselves the things they see in the dark aren't actually real

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The majority of the code is mine except for I used brackeys base controller and then the A* pathfinding scripts. Also all audio used in the game is not mine and was from the unity asset store.

The art is excellent, the main mechanic is pretty interesting too!

Although, the circle enemy keeps spawning in the path which is really annoying, especially while wall jumping.

It also sometimes spawned underground and hit me from under, which is really annoying.

The music keeps restarting every time I die.

The game looks blurry for some reason, I think you should change filter mode to point for it to look sharper.

I really enjoyed this game! The "remember it's not real" mechanic worked well, and I think the aggressiveness of the enemies was just right, even if their spawning did sometimes make it difficult to plan routes. The jumps felt nice and just floaty enough. Great work!

The game is really good. The animations are really good. I like the unique way of the enemy spawning. Rated it! If possible do rate my game :)

I loved the animation of the character. I struggled a little with some of the monsters spawning on/around/under me while I was jumping  so couldn't really react and wish I had a little more control. I also didn't know I could wall jump until I tried it after the third street light and would have liked a message letting me know I could wall jump. Cool graphics and great concept, well done!

Ya I tried to put in some restrictions for where the enemies would spawn but didn't have enough success in the amount of time I had.  Also ya the wall jumping I wanted to be more relevant throughout the game but didn't wanna introduce it too early but only put in a tiny note in the instruction section. However I didn't really get to expand upon it like I wanted to within the time frame. I definitely learned a lot on what I need to prioritize for the next time I do a game jam! Scope creep definitely got me lol. Thanks for the input though!

Scope creep is so real, and you made a great game for one week! I also learned a ton, I suppose that's why we're here :)

I really love the concept! The graphics are also amazing, great job!

I just rated your game, maybe you can do the same on mine ^_^

I like the concept a lot but the spawning of the enemies in the dark makes it difficult to plan jumps and routes. You definitely need to give a visual cue to alert the player on where the next enemy will be coming from. I kept getting put back to the start by hitting an enemy that wasn't on the screen yet.

Ya I found myself struggling with the same issue later in development. Definitely something to learn from for the future and something I should've prioritized in retrospect. Thanks for the feedback though!

I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this one! Fantastically done--the "remember that it's not real" mechanic is really clever, and the controls are silky smooth. The graphics were great too. Being chased by the monsters was super scary--I was determined to get to the end!
