I think it is a good game, therefore that it is your first one. Just keep going, everyone needs to start some where. I am exited for your next one! :)
It's not bad, man! It's a cool little game, especcialy for a first one!
The idea that you lose health when you shoot is very cool and makes the game very interesting. You could definitely panic when there are a lot of enemies on the screen and you're low on health.
Personally, while I think the shaking of the camera while shooting adds to the feel of the game, which is a good thing, it's a bit too much and can be distracting over time.
That being said, it's definitely a fun game and worth a try!

Honestly pretty good for your first game. Gets really chaotic the further you can go. Well done!
I really liked the idea of connecting your health to your attack, I think it was a fun and interesting mechanic! I would have found it easier if you could control using WASD instead of the arrow keys. This is a really good for you first game, I had fun playing it!
