The idea is okay, but the level is way too big. The used assets is pretty good, and it gives the game an interesting atmosphere.
It seems like it was supposed to be a puzzle game? But it's on a timer without much clear distinction on what does what and where to go etc. so it's very confusing and generally just a lot of running down corridors until you find a statue to turn 90 degrees and magically change something. Without too much clear connection between the two. So some finer points:
The maze is quite same-y, and a bit too dark (literally) to see much. I would have liked for there to be a little more in the maze, as its ratio of size to contents is extremely low, which makes the challenge of navigating it more difficult than it is rewarding. Maze games aren't usually my thing so take that with as much salt as you wish, but it did feel like there was more 'finding my way' than any interaction (with the world, or with the character-switching mechanic).
The characters of Jane and Jessica are a good opportunity for an added layer to the experience, but past the occasional switch-door interaction there doesn't feel like it's a part of the experience. I felt like the loop was just to play as one character until you can't go any further, then switch to see if looking around as the other would offer a way out.
It feels like two independent journeys are occurring in the maze, which isn't a bad thing at all, but if there was something else to unite or connect the two beyond the very occasional instance of needing to open a door for someone, there could definitely be something here.
Oh, and also - as soon as I saw the fire my gamer brain asked "what happens when I touch it" - of course, my character died, and the game became unresponsive until I went to the menu and manually restarted the whole thing. Players are gonna experiment, the punishment probably shouldn't be that severe.
