Very cool concept.

I can see this as a prototype to a bigger game with more mechanics. Not sure if you intent to go to a puzzle route with this game but I can see a puzzle game here where for example you might need multiple characters to grow one object or maybe one object can not grow until another one does.

The visuals are very nice and it feels very satisfying when one of the objects grew.

If you have a chance please provide feedback for my game.

I love the art and music, they fit the aesthetic so well.

Definitely an interesting concept, and I loved the feeling of finally having others around me supporting me as I grew the objects, it really hit home the stroner together theme in a very effortless way!

I also loved the idea of the interactive main menu, it drew me right into the game; and i definitely agree that the tutorial wasn't wholly necessary.

One idea I had about the sound effects would be trying to sync them up with parts of the music; so for example when you grow one of the objects the sound effect would play on the nearest beat of the bar (or a good place in the music). I thought of this as the first plant I grew hit right on the beat and it felt amazing, but I realised the later ones didn't do the same.

With a little more world building, a background and some more juice to all the interactions (like particles/sounds when people start following you) would top off the experience nicely.

Liked it :)

Thank your for your detailed feedback! This is really helpful.

Good to hear the game evoked the good feeling of having others supporting you. With the main menu I was not sure, so nice you liked it.

Yes, in a polished and extended version the sound plays an important role. So your idea of synchronising it on the beat of the nearest bar is something I will look into. I have to check if there is any algorithm which finds it. And more "feeling evoking effects", like particles etc. are good.

Thank you! That's nice. And good to hear you liked the main menu, ... I was not sure if it is something others like.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything like yours yet :)

Interesting concept, it did make me think about what i could add to this level wise. Although i did not really understand the goal at first because i could go to the next level any time and nothing changed when i got all trees up. But it was nice to collect people and make trees grow. Visually i like the minimalism of this. Audio is really peaceful nice.

Thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate it.

In a polished extended version I will have to add more clarity of the goal (or maybe explain that the player can have its own goal).

Good to hear that it felt nice to collect people and that you liked the minimalism. Audio is from the Unity Asset Store, I did not have the time in the game jam.
