It seems like a really good puzzle game, the graphics and the music were good, but I managed to complete it without following the intended solution a single time. It's way too easy to go around the boxes without falling, and this makes the whole puzzle pointless, which is a shame, for they seem pretty complicated

Developer

thanks for your feedback. i've fixed most of these issues and just waiting for the voting phase to end so i can resubmit the update

Oh man, this would be such a cool game if it wasn't so exploitable. But let me start at the art. I really like the 3D graphics and effects, and the UI transitions, but the UI itself, like the graphic of the UI, is not very nice, and there is not exit button or credits, when you finish the game. However, it's good that you have a tutorial screen, and the sounds are also nice, just as the music.
Now, the puzzles seem to be very good thought through, also in connection to the rewind theme, and could be a lot of fun, if the player plays them right. However, you can skip the solution of every level in it's entirety. Let me give you an example: The player robots can literally walk over gaps, that are one block wide, and therefore also easily cut corners. The blocks that fall down, what you have to avoid, fall down too long, so the player can push them off and still finish the level - or not even push them off, because they can still stand if they are only one pixel on the edge of the floor without falling. If I can give you a tip, I would firstly make the robots as thick as the blocks, so they can't run past each other, and secondly, which is the most important, make everything behave physically more correct, like having blocks fall over an edge if they are to far over it; same goes for the player. Also, the player should have to stand on the goal entirely (if the player is more thick, exactly at the center of it), so nothing can be cheesed anymore. A great example of what I mean is the game "Death Squared".
Other than that, in theory, great game and idea.

Thank you so much for this detailed breakdown, i have fixed most of the issues you brought up, what i learned is that game testers are very important especially when it comes to creating puzzle games. i have made the robots thick, and fixed most of the loopholes that could be exploited. the only part i haven't really touched is the UI, I honestly don't know what parts of the UI you have issues with. the main menu or the pause menu? or everything?

Nice to hear my tips helped you! In terms of UI: there are a couple smaller things that make the whole picture seem off. I downloaded the game again and wrote down some things I saw:
-in the start screen, the title of the game and "click to start!" as well as the little text in the upperleft corner are blurry, but maybe this is only because of my 4k screen
-in the down right corner, the blue squares overlap with the also kind of blurry hexagons
-the "see tutorial" button is getting scaled from the left down corner, and not centered
-in the tutorial screen, the pictures are stretched, I think?
-if you go back from the level select screen, the robot pops up too late
-(for my taste, in the level select screen, the level buttons are too big, they are over the whole screen, but I don't know, maybe this is just me)
-(I think the blue color of the highlighted buttons is a little too dark and makes them hard to read)
You see, these are all very small issues, but, for me, they make everything seem strange. But as I said, the transitions are superb. Nice touch with that.

Thank you so much for this detailed breakdown. I've learned a lot from reading you feedback

Thats was fun, but it can polished in the direction that some levels were easy to complete because you can cut corners with robot's big collider, i guess :) But anyway good idea, enjoyed playing it

Really have fun solving the puzzles. Only thing, an end is missing something like the credits or thaks for playing when you finish the game.

Really nice job, and loved the art

Really nice job applying bloom without going over the top.

Feedback ;I think some more love could be given to the UI it felt like it didnt match the theme when you rest of the game looked so good. Some elements involving time looked like 0:0 and would be nice to see it read as 00:00 instead. You can do that with some string formatting.

Thank you, i'll definitely make these corrections, i recently just found a bug with the time, so i'll have to re upload when the voting is over

Sometimes the levels were very cheeseable. Because you don't fall down with the robot immediately you can go around some corners that don't have a floor.

Developer

do you remember what levels?

Submitted

Unfortunately no, I didn't keep track.

Developer

okay, thank you for your feedback

Some Levels were totally solvable without rewinding, sadly. Maybe making the Boxes and the Robots only moving very rigidly, not being able to grind on the edge of the ground would fix this. Aside from my critique, the game screams polish!! Very very cool models, graphics and UI design!

Developer(+1)

i would definitely work on that, thank you!

Rewind mechanic should have more impact on the game.

Developer

i would look into that
