good game, I played the pc version and it worked fine, its a nice platformer, and it works really well. I liked the graphics and the audio. the fonts were too thicc and a little hard to read.

Well done, I enjoyed this game :D

Good game. The controls weren't much responsive, for example while trying to jump again in the air, this is probably because of the pc webgl version. Art and sound were nice. Great job.

Couple of notes in no particular order:

- Groovy audio!
- Cool palette / art style :)
- The jump sound was a bit too loud/hard in my opinion.
- Maybe it started out slightly too hard?
- Think it has been said already, but maybe some variety in mechanics/obstacles?
- The spools are really cool, and I love that they're also conveyor belts (mechanic-wise)
- The theme fits pretty well :)

I liked the whole jumping on tapes thing. The controllers should be made explicit.

The Good:

  • Menu screens - good job on implementing a working level selection screen. Also nice that you've created a shop system, which is pretty hard to do in a short span of time
  • Art - also congratulations on creating the art assets and audio yourself. It's extra hard to create the entire game from scratch
  • Level design - you designed the levels well with the features that you implemented

Could Improve:

  • Variety - I didn't see much variety in the game. All of the levels used the same simple mechanics. Would've been nice if there were more game elements
  • Clarity - It's kinda hard to figure out the controls at the beginning, what all of the buttons do, and the font is a bit too bold, makes it hard to read
  • Movement - it was a bit hard to move around. Sometimes I'd get stuck on the cassettes and wasn't able to collect them unless I used up a life. I also just wasn't able to jump sometimes when it was critical to

I think this game is a solid start, but it's still lacking in some areas. I would focus on making the font more readable and adding more variety to increase playtime and replayability. Either way, well done on making it in only 1 week.

Great game! Maybe the controls could be a little more explicit but overall great submission!

It's a pretty cool looking game. It took me a while to realize I could double jump

I didn't get that far, WebGL version is really small and I didn't understand why I died until I I downloaded executable and made it full screen.

Well it is made for mobile and the objective is to reach the top to get the golden cassette and for this it gives you a certain amount of jumps if you get it, you will pass the level ..ggg
