Oh man, I love this art style! The shadow meld adds a fun gameplay twist too. My only issue was that it was a little bit clunky, the animations took a while to run so going back and forth between the shadow realm and the regular realm felt a bit slow.

Great work!

Nice visual, quite robust gameplay.

the art is fantastic, the vibes are great, the shadow mode is really cool. i like the concept of the game but i couldn't figure out how to get past the second floor knight. i could deposit stolen items and shadow around on floor 2 but unable to pass any enemies. it's definitely a skill issue on me lol but maybe having more directions for those of us who can't figure it out would be nice. good work!

This is so cool, love the concept, and the hand-drawn art style looks amazing. Hope you continue this, I can imagine what it'd be like if the grems have different abilities later on, as the game goes on. Well done!

Aaaa i love medieval styled games like this! beautiful!

Very cool and unique looking game with a great concept. There are probably some ways to optimize the run since in the final part the monster is pretty quick it is quite challenging the grab the biscuit. Maybe a way to distract it could help?

Thanks for the comment! Yah I agree we had so many extras to add to this to make it really flow well but ran out of time. More interaction and abilities would really bring it to life.

Nice art style and cool mechanic! Well done!

Amazing! great art work. Excellent concept. Great idea. More lives perhaps. Some save points. Very interesting concept. Enjoyed playing it. I felt like a thief. I remember playing Doom and that game's ability to put you there. This is kinda like that. Awesome work!

Absolutely love the entire concept for this game! It definitely has potential!

It's a neat concept. The camera work and sound design are particularly good.  And it's clear that a lot of work went into this, overall.

love the style and stealth mechanic

This, on paper, just felt like Bob the Robber. It had the stealth mechanic, stealing stuff, maybe a lack of a way to run away from the soldiers if you were carrying too much...

I liked the animation slowing down as you carry more, and just the stealth mechanics. It was a bit confusing for me to understand what my goal was, but I just saw steal and stole away.

Audo, while simple, hit the spot for such a simple game.

I believe my only complaint would be a lack of a way to fight against the soldiers. Yes, it is a risk it for the biscuit game, but I still wholeheartedly believe that having a way of fighting back at least a little against the soldiers would have felt for a better experience.

Overall, well done. Love to see what you make next! 8/10

Oh I hadn't seen Bob the Robber before. Yes it's very much like that. If I knew it existed I could of taken a few cues from the gameplay. Maybe for a V2! Thanks for the feedback. I agree some extended gameplay elements would really bring the game to life.

Absolutely in love with your esthetic. Brilliant character design. You've set the bar incredibly high with this.

Game's surprisingly challenging. I'd love to know what your own highscore was. 'Cause I found that you have to be very picky with what you grab.

Developer

Thank you! The most I've managed is $446 :D
