very creative take on the biscuit theme. managed to click on tens of thousands of cookies before the server room guy passed away, rip btw, may he find a better cloud to host his soul.
I couldn't find a way to unlock the door next to the break room, not sure if it's bugged or I am missing something.
Thanks for playing! If you tap enough biscuits that door should eventually open.
I like the plot twist, and a way to show coworkers :)
I didn't want players to feel lonely, thanks for playing!
gave me loads of severance vibes hehehe, i thought it was only a cookie clicker game at first so i my shock when i realised there was a whole entire 3d world outside xD
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you found the world outside the biscuits!
Very cool concept, got jump scared by the blaring sound. Impressive how do you did this in one week!
Thanks for playing!
Really cool game was expecting something completely different. I liked it a lot and had some aha moments though I did get stuck once I reached the server room. Great game though enjoyed it a lot!
Thanks for playing! The code for the door in the server room is hidden somewhere, but if you can't find it you might just have to click biscuits forever...
A great mystery puzzle game disguised as a cookie clicker. I think I ran into a bug, though. On my first run, I bought the double upgrade for the clicker, but the upgrade button never went away. Then, when the hallway fire started, I never got the key card, which I believe permanently locked me into just clicking cookies.
Thanks for playing, I haven't experienced that bug, I shall have to investigate.
Great game! It has a really interesting story and is really impressive for something built during a game jam! However I was definitely confused at times and honestly didn't properly understand that you could leave the computer until i read the comments here. But overall this is an amazing submission!
Yeah, my aim was to try and keep it subtle to make players feel like they'd discovered something secret, but it's difficult to pull something like that off with the short play time of a game jam. Thanks for playing!
I liked the freedom of walking around the floor. What at first seemed like just a clicker with a fun controllable cursor turned into a mini-puzzle, very cool!
Thanks for playing!
I love how cursed this game looks and feels. With some subtle ambient noise it could be even creepier
Thanks for playing, sound always seems to be the thing I leave till last and don't get time to finish properly in game jams!
Took me reading the comments to realize it was more than just a clicker game with very few upgrades lmao. I didn't hear the fire alarm because I muted my tab since the beeping was bothering my cats, and i thought the "x leave" in the corner was referring to closing the game. After that confusion, I had a lot of fun playing. I really enjoy this sort of puzzle game, and you did a great job!
Thanks for playing, I was aiming to create something surprising so people go in not knowing what to expect, but the risk is that some players might miss the clues and think it's nothing more than a basic clicker! Glad you worked it out in the end.
At first I really thought the whole game was about moving the cursor and clicking on the cookie, hopefully I figured out you could move around after a while. Other than that your game has a really nice atmosphere to it
Thanks for playing, I wanted to mess with people's expectations a bit, but yeah, some people might miss that and think they're just playing a super basic game about tapping biscuits!
This is such a cool and unexpected concept! It creates a really tense and surreal atmosphere. Awesome execution of a very creative idea!
Thanks for playing!
This was fun but my screen went black randomly. Is that normal?
I've not experience that, what system are you playing on?
Escape room horror is a great concept. Reminds me a great game by the name Voices of the Void.
Thanks for the recommendation, that look just like my kind of game
Almost dropped this before I really got into it. So glad I didn't. Absolute Cinema.
Thanks for playing!
Cool game, though i think i got motion sicknes. It was really laggy and the fov was too zoomed in. I liked the lore, though not sure why the biscuit computer attracts me so much.
Thanks for playing! Most testing was on a fairly beefy gaming PC and windowed, I think the FOV issue is only noticeable in full screen. I used the standard settings for Unity's built in first person camera, in future I'll need to add an option to adjust it.
That was a pretty fun game! Nice twists!
Thanks for playing
I really didn't understand how to play ... I was just tapping E on the biscuit!!!
That's what a good employee does, keep tapping that biscuit!
Fun! I loved the twist with the fire and the creepy corridor. I wanted to escape this terrible company but I guess I can only get biscuits. That's my duty.
You can escape eventually, you just need to keep tapping those biscuits (and put out a few fires (and solve a few puzzles))
