This game is really cute! We couldn't find a way to expand the screen which would have been nice. Having the noise meter reflecting the chicken's volume as they startle rather than the players movement was a nice touch compared to similar games.
Not sure if we were supposed to be able to pass the fence or not, visually it indicates a boundary but there was none. If you intend to work on the game after the jam, some art showing breaks in the fence where you are able to pass may improve that interaction. Overall, good job :)
Very good game, since you did it all alone and solo, Bravo! (Or should I say "Dorood bar shoma")
A simple but fun game
Loved the game! congratz on doing it solo
Nice idea, but it could be expanded imo, like more variety in dangers or maybe golden chicken or something. Also E for attack seems a bit hard when you are moving right. Space would be a lot better imo.
Movement is nice though
Good luck
Great submission. Simple yet fun. Super small point but I did not like Attack/Eat on E.
Simple and easy to understand concept, but poor birds :,)
The fox sprite is really nice, great work!
that was really really good it was simple but affective
good job,
You know what? For me it’s a good game. Just my personal opinion, but maybe I’d increase the screen size a bit, and maybe put the attack either on the spacebar or on the mouse button. Not that it doesn’t work as it is, but using ‘E’ for attacks feels a bit awkward in certain situations, like moving right and attacking at the same time since I use the same finger. Other than that, I’ll say it again: simple and effective, well done
Simple and cool game, I would also add some information how much HP is left.
Thanks for playing my game. I will add this to future updates!
Cute little game, great way to kill some time. Nice work
Simple and clean. Just wish i can see the shooter and where they are aiming at.
I enjoyed it. I liked the visuals. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any background music. I feel like that would add to the immersion of the game. I also noticed that there didn't seem to be any option for fullscreen. Apart from the things mentioned, this was a fun game to play. Well done!
I like the art alot, there seems to be.. no audio, the game is small, simple, but really fun, not meant to say but great game!
But there is audio in the game!
let me try
Well, that fox is indeed risking it for the biscuit. You can pretty much go on indefinitely if you have the patience. I got impatient and went for a game over after hitting a score of 100. A level system with specific goals and increasingly hostile hazards, like dogs or static obstacles, would add variety. Maybe some power-ups, rewards for combos.
efficient concept, lacks a bit of depth but yhe game works fine ! GGs !
Really lovely art, nice simple concept. I'd be interested to see how else you can dissuade the player from making noise, as I spent most of my runs on full noise avoiding the three bullets.
Nice Game! reminds me of the Atari games.
Wanna try out my game?
Sure!
This game is simple but super fun, with beautiful visuals to match. The only downside is that there isn’t quite enough content yet—if there were more to explore, it’d be perfect. Also, I absolutely love the little fox character!
Simple game that fits the theme perfectly. At first, I thought you couldn't pass the fence, but you can!
