Very nice artstyle. Really liked the music and sound effects too. Gameplay is maybe a bit simple. Maybe you can have some additional minigames based on which card you pick?
Well done, good entry to the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
What can go wrong when you are a cheaty kitty in a lawless bar full of scary dogs? NOTHING CAN GO WRONG... Just cheat your way out of a card game, and avoid beeing eaten...
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None

Well done, good entry to the jam.
I enjoyed how simple this one was! It made me flash back to high school when I had to make one of those metal hoop zapper games.
I enjoyed it a lot once I figured out what to do, but I had to check the comments to figure out what I was missing. I would have appreciated a flash or something when I was interacting with the bead that I needed to move, or maybe an icon instead of the transparent hand to make it clear what I was interacting with.
Congratulations on hitting your 20 rates!
This is not what I expected it to be! Jokes aside the art looks very good and I like it very much, and I appreciate the idea of playing electric rod as a representation of hiding cards in hand, this is a really fun idea. Btw why are you forcing poor grandma to play these types of games LOL
An issue I had with the game is that the mouse somehow feels quite floaty and doesn't react well or even act like my mouse. If this is intended please make the effect more noticeable so that players will intuitively understand something is going on. I'm also hoping there are more cards to play with and even some other mechanic to do with the cards you've taken, but that's probably too much to ask for a jam.
Anyway, you all did a good job in my opinion, keep up the good work!
Lol, this reminded me of those metal hoop contraptions in real life which buzz if you build a circuit. Well done!
My only feedback would be making the game self explanatory (as opposed to reading the description)... an example would be if the magic circle would be pulsing until you move the mouse down it would tell me i have to interact with it and not the paw / card. That being said once i read it, it was clear.. so for a jam .. well done!
Very cute art and music is great!
Had a lot of difficulty with the dragging minigame while using a trackpad (which i suppose is my own fault for using a trackpad). Not being able to release LMB (and therefore "reset" my fingers position on the trackpad). Also having a bit more feedback when you "drop" the ball would help alleviate the issue of me thinking i still had the white ball but it got reset. Unfortunately wasnt able to progress to get an understanding of the card game, having a bit more "on-ramp" to the first hand as far as understanding what is going on could help alleviate some confusion.
I'll give it another play when i have a computer with a mouse since very curious how it plays!
It's a really interesting game, and the art looks really nice. My only trouble with it is that once the time to get to the end speeds up by a fair bit, it becomes almost impossible to do most of the cards, especially the sword one.
I love the artstyle so muchh, although the difficulty went up so fast it was fun nonetheless. Keep it up <3
kind of confusing but keep it up there's something interesting about it
