How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong when you are piloting the ship! We made a game that is similar to Asteroids but the ship does not automatically get destoried.
Our goal was to make an idle space game that you can play anytime you want, without having to pay attention or worry about destruction.
However we did add some challenges and bonuses to the game!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Code, we used godot and a couple extension examples, like GDExt.
As for the assets, we used several from Kenny.nl, OpenGameArt and itch assets, all of which are listed in our game description.
This includes but not limited to, Auidioknobs from OpenGameArt, Kenny.nl's Space Redux, VOID pack by Foozlecc from Itch, Galaxy Pixel Art by Iftikhar Alam from Vecteezy / IftiStock.com and Pixel Space BG by Norma 2D from Itch.

How many people worked on the game?

I must say that I loved the movement system. It is so fun to me even though I have never experienced such a way of moving in space. I love the background even though it does not give the feeling of movement, I know it realistic but I didn’t loved it. I also didn’t like the galaxies on top, which looked too fake but I had much fun playing it!

Had a decent time flying around. Even going full throttle and holding down the laser button, watching my temperature soar over 200, I didn't seem to face any negative repercussions, so I guess nothing really can go wrong!
Was there no audio, or was that a bug on my end?

It's been a while since I played this style of ship game and I must say it was a lot of fun. Great job.

It feels like there is a lot of game under the covers and a bit more time and attention will pull it all together. Some parallax or other motion in the background to convey travel would go a long way towards selling the overall effect. Ultimately, I think you have a very strong foundation.

The gameplay is getting there! Still no audio on my end but overall it's a good game!

Looks nice. Miss a bit of player's goal (shop or quest?)

Nice use of the space assets!

I am a huge Asteroids fan so also enjoyed your game. Felt the controls were a bit more punchy than the old arcade Asteroids :D

Did I get it right that you simply cannot lose?

It's cool, that you wanna keep adding to the project - I hope you will find some time to do that in the near future, right now I felt a bit aimless to be honest.

Good game with visuals but I'm not really sure about the background, somehow I feel like I'm not piloting it down it's kind of dragging and parallax background would be a good fit for this game.

Cool game! I like the art and responsive control.  Just floating around in space.
My suggestion would be to add a parallax background to enhance the experience.
