Hi everyone! After working on this little project for the past few months, I'm excited to finally share the early demo of Pocket Gecko! 

What's the game about:

• Watch the gecko wiggle around on your screen and catch insects for you. 
• Sell the insects to buy upgrades or keep them for bonuses. 
• Collect 20 different insects in this demo.

What's planned for the full release:

• 3 additional themed islands
• 60 additional insects
• gecko customization (color, shape, pattern)

• Is the capture minigame easy enough to grasp without a hint/tutorial?

Fun game! Every aspect feels polished, mechanic, animation, and the shader/post processing effect adds unique vibe to the game.

I like the control, feels snappy as a platformer game! The upgrades and level design seem well thought out to incorporate a quicker run.

Hi, cool game! I like the art style and simple yet well executed mechanics. Also, the boss like phase is such a nice addition! I'd love to see more.
Some issues I found, the player can get stuck between roombas and sofa like me :( and the camera movement could be smoother, sometimes it stutters.

Thank you for playing! I agree we might need to adjust the difficulty with some kind of scaling after a certain wave for hardcore players.

To be honest, we didn’t expect some players to get that far! 😆

I love the puzzles! managed to get to level 8, and gave up on 9. I know the correct placement but just can't seem to find the right move to solve it.
Anyway great work on this game!

This game is really fun to play! I like the art and simple mechanics, but it still takes skill to last long. Managed to score 24 before everything collapsed haha.
Is it intended that a car crash can trigger another crash? I think it's a lil bit tricky to control that aspect.
