How does your game fit the theme?
Well I read "what's behind the door," and I thought like, a dungeon crawl. Like the kick down the door sorta style of game, so the game is about that. It's the preamble to opening a door and getting to the other side, and then fighting (or circumventing) the guys on the other side.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I didn't make the font, or music, but all the code and everything else was made from scratch.

Specifically, a the font is Morris Roman by Dieter Steffmann. The song used in the intro, Mists in the Elven Lands, is by elias_weber, and the song used in the combat is O Recinto Amaldiçoado by Composiia, both from pixabay.

I enjoyed it. It was short but it had nice visuals, a good story and the sounds were quite nice as well... I think this could be a really nice game with some more polishing... Good job!

This is honestly one of the first games I played that made me ask "what's behind the door". A lot of games took the theme literally (like me), but this one I was actually spending resources to see if I could prepare better. That's really neat.

The art is absolutely fantastic, and this is the start of a really interesting game. I'd love to see a longer version. The only thing I'd mention is that there's a lot of reading. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and the speed up text button makes it smoother, but I can't help but wonder if there's a way to streamline the reading without sacrificing story.

All in all, this is a fantastic submission and a great game. Love your use of theme, great work!

I liked the Table-Top RPG style of this game. It has the potential to be a fun multiplayer experience.

I love the story! You don't see many stories in these jams and it's refreshing. Great work!

Short but intersting, nice writing

I really dig the dnd aspect of this game. It could make for a great narrative story!

The ambience with the lights and darkness work really well to give that eerie vibe, immersing you in the dungeon that you're in. It's also fun trying the different routes that you can take and see how they develop differently.

It was short, but great nonetheless!

Overall I really love the aesthetic look and feel of this game. Having a dark room, with your wooden mini figures as a light swings back and forth adds so much atmosphere and direction to the tone. It's dark, it's creepy, but also kinda warm and comforting. Especially with the style of game that is a tabletop dice roller, you write and paint a visual picture of the scene so well. This really captures the feeling of having a party invading a scary dungeon.

I love the fear of what is behind the door, what should I do be it sneak or bust down and then stressing about resource management and what I will need ahead. You did an amazing job incorporating the theme into your game and giving me that anxiety. I would have love to see another few rooms, but I also understand with the time given you can only do so much.

Overall, this is an amazing base for an incredible game, and I know given more time you could polish up and make something incredible. I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs, overall I had a wonderful time. Great job! Keep up the good work!

Has a lot of potential, sad to see how short it was but I really liked it.

If you decide to develop this game further, it would be cool to see some animations for the minis and maybe some sound effects for clicking the button prompts, like dice rolling or attack sounds (when attacking of course)

So much fun! I was only disappointed when it ended lol. The only thing I noticed was a couple spelling/grammar mistakes, but very minor.

I enjoyed this game. I can see real potential in it as a basis for a very cool dnd game

I can see the potential in this text adventure, but I wish the story was longer

Yeah, I also wish the story was longer. Unfortunately, I don't think I managed my time all too well and I had to pivot a bit near the end, so the end result was a lot less fleshed out than I wanted it to be originally.

Great idea, but i personally didn't find it that fun.
