Thank you! We really wanted to work on feedback and polish on this submission!

Such a cute game, I remember doing that sort of thing when I was little!

The resource management was clever and I love the art style! Careful, the book bites!

We appreciate it! I suppose adding screen arrows to help find targets would've been a good call.

Thanks! Our programmer was dead set on adding that by the end. I'm so glad he was able to dedicate time to setting it up!

Thank you! We really did debate with something like that, but we initially thought it might've pulled from that timer feeling like a focal point. Guess we should've gone with our original gut.

If only all of my problems could be solved with paper airplanes! In all seriousness, I really like the boss fight you guys created. It's so well done and the way he enrages is great!

I'm in love with the gravity mechanic. Also such a great way to get a rich narrative with minimal dialogue. Keep your colony alive with resources and oxygen!

I love bloom! Challenging platformer, what else can you ask for! Fun and simple visuals, great work!

Straight dedication with those hand drawn animations!

We flying now boys! Love the minigames! I think it scaled well and I liked your use of the timer.

I liked how each Kobold were unique in their abilities. It was a little difficult to track when each Kobold mined, but a fun mechanic nonetheless. Very cute art style!

I love this idea, I thought the powers were a nice touch. Great visuals!

I really got the Warioware vibes. It took me a couple playthroughs to understand what to do in each game, but they were all pretty clever and fit the theme.

I'm proud to say that I budgeted well! You managed to add so many features. It would've been fun to see more levels that used them all together. It is a jam though after all. Great work on the VFX and art assets. Beautiful game!

I like the upgrading system and enjoyed trying different words. I wonder if you could access more databases for some words to build on it, it did seem to miss a lot of words. Oh, or make it so you have to guess words based on a theme so you can create your own list. Clever idea overall though!

Sorry to hear you couldn’t reach. That level is slightly buggy and becomes more difficult if you die on it. It is still beatable though in that state. Our fault entirely. Thanks for the positive review despite the bug!

Nice job with the overall style of this game. Also, creative touch with the  pushing/pulling mechanics. With some additional level design, I see great potential, great work!

Try changing the size of the window :)

I absolutely loved that the knights be shopping at a grocery store. Beautiful art with fun gameplay that fits the theme nicely. Amazing work you guys!

hmm..... Monke loves you

Thanks for the positive review. We wish we could post a patch on the rescaling as we're aware it breaks at times. I'm glad it didn't deter you from having a great time!

Extremely well polished. This just felt great to play and had amazing visuals! The scoreboard at the end was a nice touch too.

Monkey.exe is 100% safe and trustworthy, I promise! Jokes aside, thanks for your positive words!

Gorgeous effects and I loved the music! Great work!

monke

Such a simple game that feels great to play!

(Your Itch is out of this world btw! I loved your explanations and the overall layout!)

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy our game. Let us know what put you off. We'd love to hear your constructive criticism.

Thanks for playing our game! I know it might've been confusing in the beginning, but we wanted to see if we could surprise our player in the beginning with the resizing. We didn't consider that they might get stuck. The trick is that certain objects scale in the window while others don't.

Solid entrepreneur take on the theme! Scaling up your factory and production is such a unique idea. A quality-of-life idea could be a preview of where your buildings will go before you click "Q". Great work overall, especially for your first game!

Thank you for your positive response! I will say that the window did cause us a big headache for various reasons. I'm so glad you enjoyed the game regardless.

Great work! I love the character design and your unique building mechanic. If you could spend more time on this, I think a scaling mechanic on the blocks would take this to the next level!

Great game! I loved scootin' around changin' the size of things. I loved the simple mechanics and environment.

Nice work! All of your imported assets worked well together and the game was enjoyable to play. It would been nice if you could move diagonally, but that wasn't a deal-breaker. It was real satisfying to kill those skellies

With some more speed and obstacles, I can see the potential. Great start!

While it made the game tricky, I really liked the enemy AI. The game felt polished and I loved the art!

I love the story! You don't see many stories in these jams and it's refreshing. Great work!

Mechanics felt great and I loved how they fit the theme. Great work!!! Be sure to check out how to use a sprite atlas if you’re looking to get rid of those pesky lines that appear sometimes.

The waves spawning at the door fit the theme well but did make the game a bit too easy. I really liked the shop system.

Loved the story you told with this! Amazing visuals too!
