Very fun game and very cool idea creating an only up like game but only down!

Environment, and idea is cool. Level design is well made. On pc movement is not easy because of the cursor problem.

Not bad at all!

Things I enjoyed ✔️

  1. I like the environment, I think it looks nice!
  2. I like how you took the concept of only up and put your own spin on it.

Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷‍♂️

  1. Fix up the UI, it feels very crowded.
  2. Having a lift up function would be very appreciated!
  3. Having a character model that more fits the environment would tie everything together.

Overall 📓

Overall not the worst time I have had playing a game. The game is a decently made title, great job on this game, if you polish it a little bit I could see this game potentially getting big.

Its nice game, but the controlls in pc works not so good

Overall ok game, not best i've played but def. not worst either xD Good job :D

"UnderDungeon" offers a simple yet enjoyable gameplay experience. The falling mechanic adds a unique twist, but it could benefit from some tweaks for smoother transitions. Implementing a death screen and fixing mouse issues would enhance the overall experience.

Pretty good use of the theme! Controls were great. Nice job!

Good graphics and game details. Dynamic music. Nice work)

Smooth-running 3D game on web - always a pleasure. The colliders of the objects are sometimes unreliable - in addition to them being non-platform-y shaped and rotated; jumping on them is harder than it needs to be. Otherwise it's pretty fun.

I thought this game was really fun, I certainly was challenged enough to want to make it to the end. Well done on getting this done in only a week.

The falling mechanic is a good choice. It allows the player the chance to speed run (which is usually the goal for some players) but with the added challenge of risking a death because of it. The only difference with your game compared to something like Going Up is what happens after falling. Going Up keeps the player alive the whole time, while yours essentially kills them then restarts the level.

This might be ridiculously complicated to implement for such a simple game but maybe falling to a certain speed causes a portal to open up beneath the player and teleports them back to the beginning. This way, the player doesn't get a jarring experience that involves menu screens to restart.

Simpler mechanics to implement might be the ability to do a mid-air jump if the player hasn't already jumped.  I just found that a couple of times I would try to jump but would fail even though it seemed like I was still touching the ground.

Also, locking the mouse position and hiding the mouse would improve gameplay. It is a little distracting seeing the mouse go all over the screen and it actually prevents the player from looking around if it goes onto another monitor (that's what I found anyway).

None of these issues were game breaking in any way just a little inconvenient. Overall, still really fun to play.

Nice concept, I would spend a bit more time on the jumping mechanic, being a central mechanic to this type of game it felt more floaty than I would have thought it should.

Developer

I had fun making the game and the pressure

Submitted

Nice job. The jumping seems a bit weak but other than that it's nice

Good job, but when you just fall I think that there should be a death screen, but now you  have to quit out of the game, but anyways, good job.

I don't understand. If there is gravity, and the point of the game is to go down, then falling is not a negative but a positive. I seem to just float in the air when I fall untill the edge of some collider and you can just go to the end like that. Music was good.

Not a bad game and quite difficult, but every time I fell (almost at the very beginning) I landed on an invisible collider and when I reached the edge of this I fell on the second one, and then when I reached the edge of the second collider after a small fall, the character moved to the beginning

and the control is a bit inconvenient - on the WebGL version, the mouse cursor is not hidden and, accordingly, there is no full view of the camera
