You dive into a sime mold cave and you also are diving into a company's shady history
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Sweet idea and novel presentation.
I like how we're guided through game progression by seeing dossiers of employees. The game had easy to understand objectives.
nit: arrow keys work for left and right, but not up.
Fantastic Game! 📖
Things I enjoyed ✔️
Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷♂️
Overall 📓
This is a very well done title! Great work on this one! You should be very proud of this game! I had so much fun playing it! You deserve many more ratings!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it thank you for leaving such a positive comment. :D
Honestly I thought I was gonna hate the story aspects but once I was midway I was too curious to not finish. My feedback is that it was pretty hard to see around cause of the camera zoom and how dark it was. Overall genuinely enjoyed this. Also happy 20th review!
Glad to hear the story kept you playing. I agree that its hard to see. Thank you for taking the time to play and leave a comment. :D
(20 reviews!!!!!!!! woooooo)
Love, love, LOVE the use of the case reports as a framing device to dive deeper while diving deeper! What a great double-dip on the theme! The narrative was fun to uncover and I appreciated the dark but somewhat satirical tone. Would love to see more!
Glad you enjoyed the game and that the narrative was good enough to keep you interested. Thank you for taking the time to play and comment. :D
I didn't expect the story to be that good! I really like how you implemented the theme - both digging deeper in the files, but also diving literally. Very nice job! I hope you get enough ratings :)
Glad you enjoyed the story and thank you for leaving a positive comment. :D
Good game and story, but a little cutting music effects
I agree about the sound effects. Thank you for playing and leaving feedback. :D
Really fun concept. The story moved along nicely and felt intriguing. The blue filter in the pit was a little hard on the eyes, but felt appropriate for the story. Some of the papers didn't disapear or give me any indication that I had achieved something. Some indicator that I was progressing would have been really helpful. Unfortunately the game froze on my third dive and I couldn't get it to continue, which was a bummer because I was curious how the story would play out. Really great game overall.
Thank you for taking the time for playing sorry about the game crashing crash. Thank you for leaving feedback about the papers. :D
Pretty cool idea, traversing the depths feels nice.
Thank you for taking the time to play and comment. :D
2 interpretations of a theme? Nice!
The story is very intriguing, though I wish it was a little longer
Since this is a horror game, music can really set its feel, but there is no music in this game, if it even exists
The sound effects is a little hard on my ears though, not sure if that's intended
Cool game, could definitely use some improvements, especially when it comes to audio
I agree that the typing sound is to loud I wish I added ambient sounds oh well. Thank you for taking the time to play and comment. :D
Really interesting idea of applying diving deeper in multiple meanings of the expression!
I liked the exploration aspect of it, although I was a bit confused. On the last character it felt like the notes were their thoughts, but before it I was under the impression that I was finding notes from other people, that wasn't very clear.
The visuals are pretty nice, although the vinette blinks when I click to advance dialogs, it feels like a glitchy thing. I felt the vignette effect for the underwater sections could be toned down a little, but they serve the purpose.
I really missed some music, gets a bit boring at times.
Also regarding dialogues, sometimes I went back to the files scene and they were still showing up on the screen. Maybe an automatic timer for them could be helpful. Since I didn't click sometimes while diving it got a bit out of sync.
One note said the character was bored so he was writing, and then said he was trapped so he was writing. Is that intentional or it was some sort of typo?
A minor thing, Itch.io's full screen is clashing with Unity's full screen button.
Overall a pretty solid story entry. I like how it's told in bits.
I do think the vignette was a bit excessive and blocked quite a bit. Also the dialogue did need more polish and fixes. I had wanted to add ambient sounds like Minecraft but time. For the note it wasn't a typo I wanted to sound like it had a beat. Thank you for playing and leaving feedback. :D
Great implementation of the theme and overall a fun game. Great job! The game itself ended a bit abruptly and I would have liked to be able to hold down W to swim up, but that's just a minor change :)

The abrupt ending was totally not because I couldn't make the credits scene transition work lol. W to swim is a good idea. Thanks for taking the time to play. :D
Ah, hello fellow developer of a "shady company" game! Nice to meet you!
The controls were pleasant enough, and I especially respected the ability to use your mouse to skip through dialogue. The notebook entries were also pretty interesting.
However, unless I was paying attention to the dialogue at the start of each level, I had no idea what to do. So I'd get caught in some trap or find my way back to base and not know whether or not I did the right thing. I think some sort of interface in the corner of the screen would've done wonders for this issue.
Another gripe is that the game just...feels empty. There's barely any music and the only sound effects are the diver. Some sort of underwater ambiance or slow-moving background music would've made the game feel a bit fuller.
Overall, it's a novel concept and a clever extension of the theme, but I felt like it just felt a bit amateurish in presentation (especially with the spelling/grammatical errors). I'd love to see an enhanced version after the jam tho!
I agree with the objectives should have been displayed or something as well as conveying that the deaths where unavoidable. I wanted to add stuff like Minecraft's cave noises but ran out of time. I also agree about the spelling. Thank you for leaving in depth feedback and for taking the time to play. :D
The atmosphere of the game is really well done! Makes me feel like I am actually in deep waters
Thank you for the kind words. :D
very cool history game, nice
Thanks for taking the time to comment and play. :D
Plays well! Does the boss die in the end?!?!?
Yes. (Thank you for playing :D)
I like how the idea combines both diving in the water and diving into case files :). Nice work!
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment.
LoL! The BOss has to do the dirty work? I was 100% sure the company was super evil or something. I played it till the end (Explosion) i guess. And that speaks for itself in a gamejam. Well done. It was catchy and something new. Constructive feedback: It is very dark and the controlls are a bit fiddly. Otherwise: Nice game! :)
I agree that the screen can be a bit dark. I do wish I had an explosion effect but oh well. Thank you for taking the time to play. :D
