Game's take on the theme
This game contains a Card Trade System, where you can exchange your status (Life, Stamina, Defense and Attack) for some perks. There are two bossfights that use this Exchange theme in a creative way, i think

Oooooh, there's a finished version. Okay, I could only play the browser version. I enjoyed it, but then once I'd beaten the Witch it all just kind of stops, except for the lurking bunny. Art is really good, and the three bosses are nicely different. Well done!

I quite liked your pixel art and the choices you made with your sounds and music. I felt like the game was cohesive visually and auditorily speaking.  I also liked the feel of the movement, though at times it did seem just a bit clunky.

My main gripe would be that in some ways the game felt unfinished. I had issues pulling up the menu and the card exchange mechanic was underexplained.

The game itself is unfinished… But… i am working more on it When this Jam finishes up ratings, i maybe will be able to update it.

Given the limited time we had, that is understandable. There were certainly some aspects of my group's project that were forced to go unfinished as well. But if you do ever get around to finishing it, I look forward to seeing the completed project.

Loved the game art design and feel for the movement. Bosses were super fun and unique as well. Maybe it's just me but I could not figure out how to exchange cards?

Welll thanks for the comment <: This ‘card system’ is pretty buggy rn. You just need to select one, after selecting it, it gets deleted automatically. If you defeat the boss you fighting, the cards return.

The gameplay and such reminded me a lot of our own game. cool good job! 4/5

Clean pixel art! I didn't play the finished version but the submitted game has some great features including the slo-mo dodge. I would do away with the machine gun sound the attack makes though, feel out of place.

I like the idea and the art! Something is weird with the movement mechanics, sometimes I would feel like I wouldn't have control!

Wow ! That was hard (or maybe I'm not really good). I like the art and the boss design !  The gameplay feel great also but a bit difficult to completely enjoy it, but really cool game,  nice job !

Everything is good the animation and all,,although i cant pin point where the attack will go,maybe add a warning before it attacks? like where it would go or direct at,also a saving point too,to be able to get back to the level that was unfinished.I dont know if i bugged or something,,the part where i defeated the dark void boss i was on the next level where 2 people are attacking,the moment i died,,i came back to Suzume again- so does that mean i gotta do the 2 levels all over again? couldnt finish it because i kept dying but i got the hang of it

There is already a warning, pay attention to circles, sounds or even moviments that means that an attack is going to happen. There is no save point. Planning to add a CONTINUE button to choose which boss to fight again with. . .. Wait… ohh that is a bug :<

Just played the finished game. I was having some glitchs with the inventory window, so I wans't really able to use the card system, but I thought the combat was cool. The slomo on perfect doges felt awesome.
