Building your ship was really fun. I was expecting a shoot em up, so the battle system caught me off guard in a good way.
Also found an enemy ship equipped with a fist, and I'm sad that I never got that part in my run :')

Honestly I really like the concept but as the others said it felt meaningless to build the ship sometimes, as the game proceeds on a somewhat visible premade-rail. Other than that, nice experience that I wish you'll consider taking on with devevelopment. Good one!

This game fits the theme and I enjoy the gameplay. But there are a few things i feel like hold the game back.

The entire game feels very slow especially in the first couple rounds. I would suggest simply lowering the health on everything so levels dont take as long. Another thing is that choices dont feel very meaningful. Ship construction is super straight forward and the player only has input in the ship's shape. I suggest having it so the player gets a choice on like one of three ship parts to get at the end of each level instead of being stuck with the static choices the game gives.

On the positive side i really dig the art. Its very simple and cutesy yet effective for what youre going for (I especially like the fist weapon for the ship). The variety of ship parts makes it fun to discover new combinations and looks for ships.

A neat little builder game. I wish the decisions felt more meaningful. It was usually pretty obvious what I should swap in / trash. Maybe if you could see the next enemies stats before the fight?

I really like the art, music, and little sound effects were great. I’d love to see a more developed version that gave me more decisions / made me feel like my decisions matter.

Just asking... how has this been submitted 2 days after the jam ended?

Late submissions within 48h were allowed so we decided to just chill during the holidays and finish the game a bit later¯\_(ツ)_/¯
