One of my favorite games so far in this game jam. Love the story and the game mechanic, but in some levels I was not sure what to do and just hoped that i hit my next destination somehow. You get a plus because you made your music yourself instead of taking any finished track from somebody else. I did the same for my game and I have the same repetitive music, but mine is shorter :D Maybe you want to check it out. I would appreciate it.
Here are some points which could be improved for your game if you plan continue to work on it. I could see a nice mobile game here ;)
Other than that I can't find anything bad :D Btw. I like that you used your game mechanics for the start screne ;)
One question at the end: Did you use point effectors for the gravity or is this all code? Or something else? :D
Thanks for all the feedback! I know that in some levels you have more planets than you need, but most levels had more than one solution so I figured it is probably better to give to much than to little, and for the controls I definitely would have done them differently if given the chance. I plan to practice making music so the next game jam I compete in has a better soundtrack. For the gravity question, it was all done using code. I'll check out your game too.
Really good game. The mechanic was really good and made for really good pluzzles. It wasn't really explained ingame that you had to click A/S to change size. Not a really big problem tho, it said so right in the description. Not too big of a fan of the graphics, tho they are not bad at all. The music can also get a bit irritating over time, but again its far from the worst iv'e seen this jam.
Very good overall
I just lost an hour of my life. :) nice little puzzler. Didn't get it at first but once I understood, I loved it! Perhaps needs some getting started tutorial levels? Nice concept.
Thanks for the feedback! Originally I planned to have a little tutorial message appear during the first level (with like little arrows pointing towards stuff and saying what it did) but I didn't end up having the time. Hopefully next time I will be able to get that done.
Very good game! Levels were pretty good, controls were easy to use, visuals were nice. Music got a bit repetitive but that's really a minor issue.
Thanks for the feedback, I do want to work on my music skills, it was my first time actually putting music in and I plan to make a better soundtrack next time
Awesome puzzle game. I felt freedom in what I am doing, like there is more then one way to solve each puzzle. I learned the mechanics well in those simple introductory levels, and that is great. Only thing is that I found the controls a bit weird. Maybe try using mouse wheel to change the objects size like you change weapons in shooters. Nice work, keep it up.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I did think about changing the controls after submitting it, but I guess I was just used to the way they were set up from playing it so much while making it.
