This was pretty fun :D I like the artstyle, and I like how you're able to power up the gorilla man and make him like a giant monster. If I had to make one small critique, I found it a little confusing knowing where exactly my punches were landing. Cool game!

Damn, I like this mortal kombat look.

The Sandboxy nature of this game is also pretty nice. It felt pretty good to play. A side scrolling beat'em up would be pretty nice :D I think you got a pretty good first concept here. It plays pretty good.
Good job!

Man this is so goofy, I would've loved to see this given an actual level you could progress through.

I  really like the fmv graphics lol, please tell me that all the guys in the game are you or your friends. Recommendation, if you want to turn this into more than just a sandbox I recommend checking out simple retro beatem ups like in UFO 50's Fist Hell game for ideas.

All the assets are me in front of a greenscreen. I was originally going to do pixel art until I realized I'm not good at pixel art. Thank you for checking it out. Been a little while since I played UFO50. I'll check out that one.

Didn’t read the description. At first I was asking when will this game stop or whether or not there is an objective to this game. But then monke got bigger and bigger. I love big monke, what more could I ask out of this game?

BIG MONKE RULES!

I rate this game MONKE/5.

*me spotting some random enemy on the other side of the enormous mob i've created slowly but surely becoming as large as my character*

Great to see a unique and comedic game.  A couple more combat combos e.g. jump kick or dash would make the gameplay more varied - I'm sure you have plenty of ideas for new features :)

Developer(+1)

I definitely wanted to include all of those things but work got in the way of a lot of progress. Thank you for checking my game out!

This was hilarious and fun! I would love to see a jump action. I loved the chaos of having the fighters fighting each other, too, and not just your character. I would love to see what other antics would ensue if this were expanded in the future.

This was actually crazy fun

Ended up as King Kong. Some could say I activated Big Mode

I love the sprites, it makes this game really stand out

I usually dont like 2d beat-em-ups, but for some reason liked playing this one. Could definitely see this working with some sorta roguelike element (upgrades / different stages), i like the idea of watching enemies grow stronger with the player in real time

Developer(+1)

That was the initial idea. Unfortunately I was only able truly work on this on the weekends so I ran out of time to add all the things I wanted. Thanks for checking it out!

love the greenscreen characters, would be nice to have at least 2 moves so you could mix up the attacks, but nice work overall

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words! I totally agree. If I had more time I probably would've recorded some more moves and added them like jumping and high and low attacks.

Thank you, I was definitely inspired by MK. Bought a green screen just for the jam lol.
