Wow this is hard! Think you get 5 stars for the theme - it really does hurt! Cool game.

Definitely met the theme. This game was really hard. I think some player control finesse may be in order.. It seemed really unforgiving, I felt like I was hitting the red walls and getting damaged when I was maybe barely in contact with them, maybe make the players hit box a little smaller... This is the start to what could be a very cool game. 

I have no idea why it did not occur to me to just reset current level on death...

The game is indeed VERY challenging, but I loved it though! The controls are okay and the sfx remind of the old NES games fsr. Anyway, Keep it up!

A fun challenge! It was fun to battle the controls and trying to avoid touching walls and trying not to waste my health.

Very challenging, it reminds me of the worlds hardest game. I loved the death music (and heard it a lot). Very unique. The only real critique I have is the hurt sound is a little harsh. Over all very fun game!

The controls are unforgiving :) Once you edge your way through the maze it gets better, but those canons aren't easy to avoid so couldn't get past level 2 :(

Good game idea overall tho.

Great game started off hard was very close to giving in though due to the health going down so fast but overall love the art style and the retro feel very well done!

Game was definitely challenging, to the point where I made it through level one a couple times before not having the energy to keep on going.

Art was a bit grating on the eyes and the health budget was really tight(those damn cannons in level two lol)

Promising start, and if I believe the alleged "full" version could turn out great!
