I poured my heart and soul into this game. I love everything about it. I pushed myself further than I thought I could, and I'm very happy with the result.

This is really well done! I love the way the characters look and how they walk!

i like gameplay loop, anims and textures, diversity of items, i really spend some time there

but i didnt quite get the plot, like there is ai supercomputer down there which we must destroy but we never find it?

I didn't really understand how I could continue with all my team being dead but at least I could reach the end of the game.  After everybody died, I could still enter the fights, instantly lose them and keep playing, so that's weird. But I can clearly see there was a lot of work put into the game : the animations, the enemies, the procedural generation...

Overall the presentation was nice and the game was really cool. Well done for your work!

I think I broke it by stacking too many status effects:

image.png Very impressive you got it this start of maturity! I mainly took to enemy avoidance, but the overworld movement made dodging around kind of fun.

Sometimes is the journey itself what makes the game so interesting! I really loved the fact you can see your allies walking alongside you, it really gives you a feeling of not being alone but instead being accompanied throught the difficulties ahead.

I ended up getting attached to the characters even without knowing much about them and that is a great achievement.

I felt the quirkiness and the funny elements of how the slap the enemies made this super charming, the level designs felt really good and the fact the enemies are roaming around trying to catch you is really fun.

I wanted to see more and more, so the game was very well made, even with its minimalistic UI I felt like it was super useful, and I was able to do everything I wanted without a problem!

The rpg elements worked great and the music was quirky which i enjoyed a lot.

the only thing i found weird was the controls, like using enter to open when most games use E or F.

But overall, I have to say this has been one of the games that has left some of the best impressions so far, from a mechanical and presentation standpoint.

I really enjoyed this game; it’s evident that a considerable amount of effort went into its development. It’s a well-rounded product overall. Despite the emptiness of some levels, I found the visuals quite appealing.

However, the combat mechanics present a significant issue. It feels too slow-paced, and enemies withstand far too many hits, which becomes tiresome. I managed to reach floor -11, but mostly by avoiding encounters altogether.

Overall, it’s a really cool game, although I didn’t quite see how it fit the theme of the jam.

look really good! sadly its a bit empty, wish there was more ennemies/ floor visuals to flesh out the universe but credit to you for doing an actual procedural generation (found a gen bug :p ), i know this thing can be tough

Good job! The vibe and story feels nice, soundtrack contributes well to the whole aesthetic. I personally liked  a lot part in battle soundtrack where is starts doing fast rhythms ;D

From problems I faced was bug already mentioned by Lord Drageon, you can still play forward after all HP lost, you'll just lost any new battle instantly but enemies disappear then.

I at first didn't get that you should avoid battles lost most of my HP on floor 1, and then successfully outrunned all the enemies until the floor 6 :D

I also didn't get XP mechanic, but I guess it's not finished yet :)

And the best bit - mouth attack animation is dope! I'm not sure how mouths and eyes are related to the plot, but it was fun xD

Battle mechanics are also quite rich, you can do different many things and you definitely put a lot of effort in this part, but it's not super clear what debuffs are doing to enemies

Overall it left nice impression, and you achieved quite a lot in two weeks. Vibe is cool and felt unusual, if you add more assets with each floor it would make it several times better ;)

Hey, thanks so much for the indepth review, I appreciate it a lot! And I'm really glad you like the mouth animations, cause those were really hard to do (mostly because I suck at rigging)! :D

it is possible to run away after you are all KO'd. the game is otherwise good.

Haha, that's a weird bug. I'm sure there's more. Thanks for checking it out!
