the suprise ending really feels like a good cutscene, im glad i tried out the game

(1 edit)

you turned basic models into art with these shaders, it reminded me how i was experimenting with all photoshop effects lol, and interface fits with it too, and color shifting surely cool

/haha i wonder if acerola spotted the screenshot/

i literally dreamed to make/play a game with medieval paintings for graphics, thanks! and sounds are so good
yet it is quite tough, please update me or make a devlog once update is ready, i already subbed

i like the movement, its really smooth and fits the vibe of art and music, also eyes down are judgy, unique expirience

also others crows words about "a lot of potential" hit me with unexpected sad pill

the curse is simple yet so creative, also witch really scared me. 10/10 story wonder how hard it was to code it in C
p.s. love the supportive family and villagers

dialogs and setting are well written, and black crawling monsters are cool but fighting doesnt feel good at all, also after boss fight (which is designed well enough) i had "null null" dialogue

bug report: when i was in dungeon i accidentally run behind the vase in the corner (two vases after you defeat two barbarians) and stuck in collisions

it is so cute and i wish there were more games where you play as a drone

also i wonder if levels drawn by hand or generated

i was playing nice little game and then the video! i was motivated more than i was ready for

i am too trying to follow a gamedev dream, keep up good work

this paper sketch pictures somehow really charmed me! i really feel that gardener protag

i usually dont play horrors but that was interesting, i jush wish it wasnt soo dark (i thought there was no picture for 5 seconds)

i like gameplay loop, anims and textures, diversity of items, i really spend some time there

but i didnt quite get the plot, like there is ai supercomputer down there which we must destroy but we never find it?

that was the most original and quirky approach i saw on this gamejam, fun enough and not straightforward at least half the time, nice little story abt AI

i also adore that easter egg youtube comment and video abt new god

i wonder why its so few comments here, wish you luck :)

so cute and fun. i like the design!

i actually enjoyed it

its was actually fun and also cool designs

really nice for solo gamejam, diverse enemies, yet seems too difficult for me because of hitboxes

its very rare to see turn based platformer, and this one is also very stylish and atmospheric (:

im glad you like it

i will definitely develop gameplay more once gamejam ends

thx, i will likely expand it to make a card based gameplay

oops looks like i need to check end code thx

(1 edit)

hi, you're totally right about the gameplay, originally it supposed to be a card based game with visible stats to create multiple aberrations with diff criterias

yet I wasn't capable of coming up with a code for it in time of gamejam, so i cropped it to what it is for now

anyway thanks for playing and feedback, maybe come later if you'd like to

hey, you can just set zoom in browser to 70 percent , worked for me

this is not only a fun game, but an inspiring love story❤️

also i really like your texture choice, anims and cam angle and the way bk throws his cloak away

nice! thanks🥰

you don't need to go outside for it

answer is "where the time stops"

(in the pause menu)

well interesting, it would be cool if you added more interactives after jam

nice

idk if its just me skill issue but i cant press W fast enough to catch the fish (i also move the boat to opp direction)

i wonder how to get good end though

i think its intentional,

!spoiler!

because if you solve the puzzle there will be a new door

i can barely distinguish anything but im very involved

pretty kitty world :3

i really like the idea, sprites are 4\5 though

oh and being unable to jump really fits the "a departure from what is normal, usual, or expected, typically one that is unwelcome" in terms of gaming

this is very beautiful and i love the gameplay and lvl design and the creatures dialog animations, for me absolute winner and acerola will piss his pants

be not afraid of who learned 10000 game engines be afraid of the one who made one himself then used it for gamejam

i love thiis!!

nice, but i didn`t managed to get sandwitches done when the minigame closed, do you have it on timer?
