What do you like about your game?
Taking the theme very literally was a lot of fun (to make and play!).

I think I broke the game lol
Haha, 1500/8! Definitely needs a bit of balancing I guess 😅
fun and chaotic i love it. I think it might be less confusing what to do if the cloning machine was at the top spitting them out so its more clear the connection between the what you put in effects what comes out
Wow, you're totally right. I can't believe I didn't think of that! Thanks for the tip!
I'm hooked! Very fun!! It's a great puzzle, with fun graphics and well paced.
Audio would bring it up several notches. It begs for campy sound fx and an equally campy theme.
Wonderful entry!
Thank you so much for the feedback! Yes, I'd love to add some sound and music and tidy up the presentation on the future. But I'm really glad even in this unfinished form you were able to enjoy it so much! Cheers!
I had a bit of trouble figuring out how it worked at first. However once I did I made absurd amounts of money on level 2, bought every upgrade I could by rerolling repeatedly, and on level 3 my board looked like this:
Definitely some balancing issues, but it's a very neat and funny concept. A refined and expanded version would be superb.
Glad you liked the concept! The upgrades and tutorial were the last things I did so when the deadline came those were the aspects that suffered the most. A couple little fixes like the prices scaling after each upgrade and reroll would go a lomg way to unbreaking it, thanks for the feedback!
You should add a few screenshots / gifs. It'll help your page get some more views.
Good idea! Done!
Interesting idea, it was confusing at first, but when it clicked I had a good time.
Thank you! I want to make the rules of the game much more transparent in future updates.
Hi everyone, thanks for playing my game!
I didn't quite finish the game before the deadline, so some aspects of the game are a little rough around the edges, especially the tutorial. So if you're reading this before you give the game a go, here's a rundown.
HOW TO PLAY:
> The goal of the game is to make creatures that match the cards on the top. Creatures are automatically created by your cloning machines (bottom of the screen) at regular intervals.
> The cloning machines will clone whatever creature is loaded into it. You need to drag creatures into the cloning machines to load new DNA. Each clone has a chance to aberrate and change one of its four body parts. You need to keep selectively cloning creatures to get all the right features.
> The combiner (purple machine in the bottom middle) is an essential tool for streamlining your cloning. If you drag two creatures inside, the combiner will produce a new creature that combines the features of the two creatures you put in. It always matches the head of the first creature. So, for example: creature #1 has the head and body of a chicken, and creature #2 has the arms and legs of a chicken, the resulting creature will be a complete chicken.
OTHER NOTES:
> You don't lose creatures after you fill an order. You can load that perfect creature into a cloning machine.
> Clicking the fire button in the top right clears all the creatures that aren't in the cloning machines or combiner.
> If you get the Turbo upgrade, clicking the lightning icon in the top right will both increase the rate of cloning and the rate of aberration.
Thanks again for playing and I hope you'll come back one the game's been refined and balanced in the future!

It took me a while to figure out how cloning worked exactly, even with the tutorial. Also, it's a bit intimidating that the timer goes on even as you're reading the tutorial. But this game was definitely super original, and I love your ideas as well as the variety of upgrades you can get! There's definitely a huge chance factor, but it's fun when you figure it out. The art is super cute too! Good job!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I agree with what you said, I had a much more informative tutorial planned but I ran out of time before the deadline. Especially glad you liked the art, because that's not as aspect of the game I was very confident with.
Interesting idea! I think the mechanics of how cloning works should be more transparent. I really didn't know what I was doing.
Thank you for the feedback. I totally agree with you! Will work on it for the next release.
the creatures are adorable and its really fun to play, good job!
Thank you!
Very deceptively fun game! Give this one an honest try. It's a bit difficult to understand what to do initially, but it's a very fun game when it clicks!
Thank you very much for the feedback! Glad you liked it. I wanted to make a better tutorial, but it was crunch time for the game jam and this was all I could manage 😅. I'll write up a proper description though, and will hopefully revisit and refine the game in the future! Thanks again for playing!
