What do you like about your game?
I had a lot of fun making it and learned a lot. I think the mechanic of the game has potential but i couldn't bring it out here

Great idea!!...  It seems to have enough potential to become a successful game with real development invested in it. Successes!!

I feel like teleportation as a mechanic is a neat idea to work with. Some of the ideas you incorporate make for good depth and complexity as the player progresses.

The clunky controls and the lack of feedback/sound really hurt the experience, however. The teleporation mechanic feels chaotic and I'm not really sure what its limitations are. The visuals are kinda jarring and the player blends into the background on my monitor a little.

I might be repeating some of the other comments in here when I say the potential for a really interesting teleportation puzzle game is at your fingertips, but it still feels like a prototype.

Developer(+2)

yea it'll need some work but i think there might be some worth in developing the concept further. Wether i manage to do that or not only time will tell

I think your core mechanic seems really interesting, but the visuals are unfortunately pretty painful. The way they flash and change gave me a headache pretty quick. Keep at it though!

Developer(+1)

yea i'm no artist this game screams that pretty hard. I'll keep refining it and maybe someday people's eyes won't bleed when seeing it

Neat)
Really lacks sounds, but the mechanic is great

This game is a fun puzzle game experience, expecting to not waste too many teleports to get to your destination. at the beginning, I got confused once I saw the black hole, and went straight to it! Yes, I'm that kind of player.
I would maybe expand on it on the side of black holes, maybe you could string a chain of holes connected by a colour. Like using the teleportation and correct wormholes, to get to the white Hole. (Hinting the player only a few seconds about the correct string of holes to get there)  And I would probably sort of kill the player once it gets to the black hole and restart the level. These two things I think could make the game more fun staying true to the mechanic!  Nice one!

Developer(+2)

i already thought of colored holes that teleport you i unfortunately couldn't implement them, another mechanic i thought was somehow manipulating the spacial distortions(the areas where you can't teleport) so you can teleport to zones you originaly couldn't or more interestingly  putting them over black holes so you could teleport around them safely. I plan to explore this concept as much as i can in the future, thanks for the feedback btw

That teleportation mechanic is very good, with a little more polish it would be a great puzzle game

The idea was good, the idea was THERE. But honestly, the artstyle is a bit all over the place, the controllers are confusing and everything feels slightly rushed. Look, I still think the game has a lot of potential, and it could get better, but the sheer fact that i cant download it because of a Virus warning, and that the web build has no clear controls,  makes it so that the game becomes UNPLAYABLE to me. Sorry, but i didn't like it that much. Maybe you could specify the controllers in the game page? maybe then i could actually give it a try.

Developer(+1)

that's unfortunate, yea the web build has probably a few problems i didn't make the game thinking about the web build sorry you didn't like it i'll try to take those problems into account for the future. There are controls i made sure they were big enough and shown all the time but it seems the web build in full screen cuts those out i didn't know how to fix it

Hey, btw, small little suggestion if you do make a post jam version. Plase specify that THIS KEY is a spacebar in a patch.

I am not a computer expert, but that does not look like a spacebar to me. It looks like the tab key without its letters on top. The rest of the keys are very easy to understand, but the teleport one just isn't.

tl'dr. The controls aren't as blatant as you say they were

Developer(+1)

true, i'll see what i can think of, i think i remember some games putting a sideways square bracket to denote space maybe i should try it

A frankly very cool idea that would be very fun if fleshed out for a larger puzzle game! Adding a few sound effects would massively improve the experience, even if just simple ones. The game was kind of confusing at first since there were no instructions, and I only understood a bit later that there were No-TP zones.  Adding an indicator of the maximum teleport range would also be great.

Developer

thanks for the feedback. I keep telling myself that the reason the game has no sound is because there is no sound in space but i'm just lying to myself. If i decide to develop this further i'll probably ask a friend of mine to help me with the sound

Your game cool , but will fix the game a little bit but idea is good

The gimmicks and difficulties are arranged correctly for each stage. It was good to support Free Aspect Mode compared to other games. If you trim the asset a little more, it will be fun enough.

Developer(+1)

thanks, i'll take it into account, it seems i might have to also add a level in the middle to force the player to understand the "spatial distortions" or how i call them "no-tp zones", i might want to see if i can make the controls more intuitive or easier to grasp it seems those give problems too

Kinder fun little game, sadly it broke and I got a glitch where i had 1 teleport left but it wouldn't let me teleport, not sure if it was me or a bug but I stilled enjoyed the game once I understood what to do.

Developer(+1)

that's a weird one. I would like to hear a little more to see if i can pin it down. BTW there is a certain kind of tile that looks like the regular space tile but is distorted in wich the teleport doesn't work, it's kinda like a no-teleport area

Submitted(+2)

oh maybe it was a no teleport tile not sure haha, great game tho

I enjoyed playing it - was a little confusing to start with... but once I got used to the controls it worked well.

Great job :)
