Reminded me of Papers Please and I liked the feeling of being in the base with the camera shake when an enemy missile hits. Some kind of difficulty progression would help keep it interesting for a longer session (could do a day-by-day thing with new requirements each day like papers please), but this was a cool idea to play with in a few minutes. Nice work :)
Thanks! I actually planned to make several missions to slowly introduce features, story and difficulty, but didn't have enough time. Renaming "day 1" to "training" was a last minute change :) I'm glad you liked it!
Pretty crazy that you did this in 3 days, looks great. I love the radar sweep animations and effects. The gameplay loop is nice, although sometimes I would send co-ords and seemingly multiple planes would be prompted to come in. I guess this makes sense but sometimes it's like a 50/50 on whether to shoot down a plane that didnt give a callsign.
Anyways I think the gameplay idea is very inventive with lots of ways to expand it out, if desired.
Congrats on the release
Thanks! I'm glad you appreciated the visuals, I spent quite some time on it :)
After some testing I was happy with "call all" / "invite all" system. It creates interesting situations when you have to guess, risk, or just shoot everyone for safety, as opposed to boring "check one plane -> go to next". It takes time to understand all possibilities though.
Really original concept, though the gameplay loop could use some more features. Well done!
I had some features in mind, but had no time to implement it. Thanks for the comment!
That was a fun little game! Simple, and yet satisfying. Great work!
Thanks a lot!
Keeps you on your toes. Good job!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed!
the signals not matching perfectly makes it so much harder. Shot down a few allied planes.
That's the point of the game! Thanks for playing!
It's a really cool project! I really like this type of gameplay where you control an interface with the mouse, it's simple but convincing
Thank you! I think I spent too much time on visuals instead of testing and balancing the gampelay. I'm glad you liked the result!
Cool concept! I got papers please vibes from the gameplay! I would love to see it ramp up in complexity as time goes on somehow. Congrats on the submission!
Thanks! I had a lot of ideas (types of noise, inversion, amplitude of signal...), but didn't have time to implement it. I actually was busy and had like 3 days out of 14 to make the game. I'm glad you liked it!
Some real potential here if you spend some time building it out!
