What do you like about your game?
I like that the rules are simple and that it isn't like games I've made before. Also, it forced me to learn new stuff (which is always a plus)

Pretty original idea. Was able to figure out what to do after like 40 seconds of messing around so pretty intuitive concept overall. I also appreciate the intro cutscene, well done

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it ♥

I like the gameplay idea, it feels new.  Took a second to figure out that you dont need to put yellow triangles into red ones

Developer(+1)

Thanks, mate, I actually tried to innovate 🤝

Submitted(+1)

Finished it, the rotation of the triangle is broken I don't know if that's intentional, simple and scalable gameplay I'm imagining endless levels, how many triangles can you quickly combine. Also like the other guy said, the game feels too different from the 3D part.

Developer(+1)

Damn, you're right. I didn't noticed it as I tend to use more the E rotation than the Q 💀

Well, it serves me as a lesson to test more all controls in the future. Thanks for pointing it out and for giving it a try 🤝

Really cool gameplay. Took a sec to figure out how everything works, but once I did it was fun

I'm glad you enjoyed it ♥

It took me a bit to realize that you had to make the shape shown to you in red since it wasn’t like recess in the board or anything, I kept trying to mirror the form after I figured out things could be joined together.

Also I kept making shapes that were isomorphic(the same shape as the solution) but had a different diagonal. It was very annoying and I didn’t find an undo button. image.png

Still an interesting little time attack game. made me feel like I was actually on the clock and being cognitively tested.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, originally I planned for it to accept isomorphic shapes, but the coding was more complex than I first thought and ended up taking me longer than expected, so I had to simplify the equivalence verification process. In any case, thanks for giving it a try 👍

That was a fun game! One improvement is that is seemed like the rotation directions were flipped for Q and E  from what was intuitive. There was also kind of a lot of clicking towards the later stages because of how many pieces there were,   I didn't realize you could attach to pieces that you didn't initially click

Developer

I'm happy you think so 👍

Regarding your last comment: yeah, I believe there could be a better way to explain the controls, but I was in a hurry and didn't have much time to think about it 🤷‍♂️

Gameplay was pretty straightforward to figure out and is enjoyable when you find a rythm. Aside from the wendigo-meter (for lack of a better term) the puzzle feels a little detached from what is happening in the 3D room.

A bit weird that you cannot detach a piece that was put on incorrectly... unless you can, and I just missed how you do that lol :P

It looks like a lot of work went into the 3D scene. The opening cinematic is a nice touch. I seemed to be able to run it in browser okay without hardware acceleration, it was just a bit choppy when I first loaded it in. Good job on your first published game with 3D graphics!

Thanks, mate 🤝

Yeah, in the beginning I actually thought about adding the option to detach pieces, but during the development I ended up discarding it for time sake (the other mechanics took me a few days and needed to save some for the polishing 🤷‍♂️)

Very understandable. Definitely better to polish what you have currently than add in new things that may or may not break stuff, especially considering the time constraint. Cheers!
