Really enjoyed playing your game! Pixel art looks sharp. It's clear a lot of thought went into the design and presentation. Short, but super engaging. Also appreciated the effort put into the narrative and the inclusion of player choices, which added a nice depth to the whole experience. Would love to see more content or perhaps an expanded version in the future. Great job!"
thank you!
That's a refreshing piece of art and animation. Nice work!
thank you so much
Very nice pixel art!
thank you
Nice Game! Great art and animations!
Thank you!!
game looks really polished, but sadly is somewhat short. i liked the bullet hell side of the game and that little twist a lot. the pixel art was wonderful, good job!
thank you so much, yeah running out of time was rough, appreciate you playing it!
My favorite part about this game was the fight where you needed to drop to 0 health. That was a cool twist. It felt like there was a lot of setup for not a lot of game though. The presentation was pretty strong. The camera work, sfx, music, and art all were great. Good job overall!
Thank you for checking it out!! Yes there were allot of hard choices in the jam, dropping levels pivoting from ideas etc, glad you liked it even tho it was short!
Awesome job! The art style feels cohesive, and the controls are nice. I personally felt like there was too much dialogue vs gameplay, but the story was very enjoyable. The boss battle was tricky until I found a way to basically cheese the fight, but I don't think that detracted from the game at all. My only critique is that I wish there was more levels and such, as I feel like several gameplay options were hinted at but never fully explored. I understand that is only a scope problem, so I'd recommend looking into expanding your game post-jam. It's got a ton of potential, and I think it would be cool to watch the game develop more. Awesome job!
(Other small things: The character movement would sometimes get stuck on corners; the burger takes a moment to collect after it is out of the chest; transitions have a slight visual glitch; the text size changes after you make the character decision).
Really nice presentation, but I feel like I suck at playing the game :L
I love the vibe! Your color palette and music are great! I like how you introduce the controls. I'm only a few screens in but look forward to exploring the story further. Great job!
thank you for playing :D
Nice animations and art! The story was great too, the fight was really cool and the mechanic of trying to damage yourself is really interesting aproach to combat
Thank you so much
I dont really understand what happened but i guess i just killed myself(in game)
really sorry you were confused, that was the idea, rather than being a dungeon clearing hero you want to escape the world you're in. Maybe to obscure without enough gameplay but I hope you liked the game
I like all the work you put into the narrative! I got stuck on the fight unfortunately, and my health just kept getting bigger so I couldn't restart it :( Nice work though, I had fun playing through the narrative, and being able to make choices was nice!
yeah, wish i had more reset potential -- the idea was you were meant to die and avoid being healed but I had no loose condition if you healed to much etc. Thanks for playing
Very nice, game i liked the option you get to be the hero or side with myria. it is very short, and i would like to see more content, and being able to move while attacking would make the game more dynamic, but i did enjoy playing the game.
Thanks for playing!
