What a game! Amazing level of design and concept! I love such a humorous approach and rich story too! Some of the plane designs are incredible! :D

Something is deeply charming about the insanity of the level design plus the absurdity of the emojis as the art.

The game play felt pretty standard, but the fun was there for a full run and there was enough going on in the background that I never got bored.

Cool idea!

Wow, thank you.

I love the vibe, UI and general aesthetic of this. It reminds me of a DOS game I might play in a fever dream. Using emojis is such a funny and modern twist on ASCII graphics that I’m surprised we don’t see it more often. Enemy bios got me thinking, am I the bad guy here??

Developer

Hahahaha, thank you,
Using emojis was much harder than expected, there are not many weapons, items and enemies you can choose from.
Unfortunately I had no time to add more backstories and foes death wishes.
Maybe for the v 1.1 🤣

This game is really impressive, it was really cool to mix the old ascii style graphics with a flying plane. I was a bit confused about what all the symbols meant at first but then I got the hang of things and got really into it. Great job!

Woooo, thanks.
I was a bit worried it was too dumb.
Today I tried it on windows terminal for the first time and it glich like hell.
And I still have to figure out which is the proper trutype font to use in the web exporter.
