I found myself becoming really disconnected from the story that was happening because I could only make a choice that made sense with the resources I had. It was easier to simply focus on what I could spend and what the options would give me as opposed to the text. Which meant that sometimes I made choices that were obviously bad for me. Sometimes it wasn't obviously bad though because the characters are very wacky crazy. I like the concept of the tokens, but ultimately made me juggle things in a way that wasn't very satisfying for me.
