Pretty cool and fun, great idea for a like puzzler. I was confused with the control scheme a little though. Should I have been able to just keep holding down a different arrow key to keep the movement going or should it have been only in one direction?

Pros:

  • Very nice pixel art style. SFX fits with the general aesthetic of the game too.
  • Interesting take on time manipulation puzzles. I liked how you could take multiple moves in a straight line in the same "turn", being able to chain attacks by killing enemies, and trying to line up attack runs on enemies.
  • Decent amount of level variety.
  • Nice and challenging!

Improvements:

  • Add some ambience/background music
  • Perhaps some kind of tutorial explaining how the damage system works. That was quite confusing to work out

Bugs:

  • Enemy moving over the exit (not sure if its a bug, I could still move through the exit just fine)

Overall, an original take on the Rogue genre with pleasent aesthetics. Nice work!

I really enjoy the concept but it took me a while to find out the optimal tactics and fully understand how the damage system works. The art and sfx goes well with the game and I think it's a very complete experience for a 7 day game. Congratz!

Thanks a lot, yeah the damage system was the hardest to explain since you take damage also from enemies for additional damage which is harder to explain :)

Thanks a lot for trying the game :)

I really enjoyed this game. The art style is awesome and so unique. Every level is a clever puzzle and the losing health mechanic makes it so every move I make counts. Really awesome idea!
