It took a bit to work out what was going on, but it's a neat spatial puzzle. Getting through a single run was fun, but I don't know that there's enough depth currently that I'd replay it. The strategy mostly seems to be comboing items that add damage with items which can achieve large damage multipliers, with limited variation in how you go about that. Defending against enemy attacks was nice when you could pull it off but seemed less relevant latter in the game as enemy damage numbers got too big to effectively defend against.
A few quality of life features I would have appreciated:
Overall, an interesting concept executed with a nice amount of polish.
I can't really get a grasp on the game mechanic but it looked very polished!
Sorry to hear that! Did you read the game page for some tips and instructions? I think the game isn't too complicated, but it's definitely a bit unique. Anything that was particularly not clear for you?
That is a pretty interesting concept, love the idea of setting up the next attack based on the setup, I would have loved that the player always attack at end turn and player can spend action to change reroll or change the direction of attack so it is more fun to do setups and not worry about AP :)
I had a hard time understanding how the game works bt the art is really cool!
Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, we only show some few explaining words in-game. Too little for the many things we packed into this.
Finished the "How to Play" section on the games page today - maybe you want to check again? There is a good chance, once you have a feeling for what is what, that you enjoy playing it as much as our team does. Would make us really happy to hear from you again! Anyways, enjoy and have a great time.
Moving things around as the suitcase rotates is quite an interesting idea, although for the most part it gave me a feel of just being overkill rather than an opportunity for coming up with a clever move that would let me scrap by for a little longer. Even then, it's an interesting game. Really well put together entry. Lovely art style.
